    Was a little apprehensive about the compatibility of the JVC unit considering our Toyota had the factory OEM JBL system with amplifier but the adapter worked perfectly!

    No cutting or crimping any wire. Unplug the old stereo, plug the adapter into the new stereo and then the other end into the wiring harness.
