    It fit the new speakers well, but inside of the door they rattled a bit. Needed to add foam around the adapter for the rattling to go away.

    Speakers could not be properly installed without these brackets but they are definitly worth the expense in order to properly install replacement speakers.

    These matched up fine to my 2007 Silverado back doors, however, I had to also install some weather stripping between the door frame an the plates to make them fit snug; otherwise, they would rattle when I opened or closed the door as well as while driving.

    Went to install some Kenwood 6 1/2 inch speakers in my '06 Impala front doors. Factory brackets can't be used. Found these and they worked great.
