    Overpriced but it works

Firstly, it works as described, so no complaints there. My only complaint is the price, it's a lot of money, especially when you'll need to buy two sets to do a complete vehicle I bought one set of adaptors for the fronts but for the rear speakers I ended up just cutting the existing ford adaptor off the wire and joining up a short length wire and spade plugs that cost just a few bucks from radio shack.

Had to buy online for store pickup as my first visit had someone with no idea what I was asking for. Other than having to make two trips works great.

    Caution Revered Polarity!

I tried to install these in my 2004 Ford Taurus. They are very easy to install but after checking the polarity I found that it was reversed. I tried pulling the pins and flipping them but they are in there too tight. I ended up returning them and splicing into the factory wires to get the correct polarity. I'm not sure if this only happens on the 04 Taurus but thought I'd post this just as a word of warning.

Idea is great. But polarity is wrong

The idea behind this is great. It would take a lot of work out of a speaker swap if it was only wired correctly. If you hook up your speakers in the way the wires are currently configured, your polarity will be reversed. Luckily I noticed before I finished my install or I would’ve been out $300 in new speakers. The bad thing is, your speakers will still work with the polarity reversed, but they will be pulling in rather than pushing out, which will damage the speaker in the long run. someone that doesn’t have a lot of knowledge in speakers and wiring would skip right past this and never know until their speakers blew. It’s a simple fix, cut and crimp the wires in the opposite positions that come out of the bag and you’re good to go.

I bought two pairs of these to install new speakers in my 2012 Ford Fusion. It couldn't have gone any easier. Just plug and play.
