They sort of moved away from the quasi-ethereal mystery of the previous two games and while it work and is fun...I feel this could have been rebranded as another title instead of called "Metro". The gameplay is fun and challenging, the environments are very detailed, and I found it flowed really well. I recommend it if you like RPG-style FPS games where you upgrade your weapons, explore maps, do quests, etc.

Looking forward to getting into this game soon. I’ve heard great things.

If you're a fan of the Metro series up this point, then you're in luck as this conclusion to the post-apocalyptic series based on the novels delivers in spades. Although there are a few bugs here or there, the new open world to explore shows how far the series has come since its more linear days with Metro 2033 on the Xbox 360. Highly recommend for fans of shooters, stealth, or great story.

This is the best of the Metro series. It shifts from the sci-fi/supernatural theme to a straight shooter in a Dystopian Future. Character development is more in-depth here and choices you make affect the ending. Lots of open world exploring, customizable weapons, etc. Graphics and sound are also outstanding.

I have to say I really enjoyed my time with Metro: Exodus. The controls were tight, graphics were crisp, and the story was surprisingly engaging. I never played the previous 2 so I came in with fresh eyes. My only gripe is that the game would freeze often. Which would result in me having to turn off my Xbox and cut it back on. Other than that, I’m a satisfied customer.

I purchased this game on sale for $30 which has been a great steal after playing through. This is a game where you take your time playing & enjoy the level design as well as the story which is the most important. The game does a good job at immersing you into the world. I recommend this game to everyone if you're able to find on sale.
