Good game graphics are good reminds me me of old Metroid games still has same structure just better graphics

Metroid returns in its purest form, if you don't mind a harder game then this is one of the most satisfying games on the Switch

Blows away all expectations. Felt like playing an advanced version of super metroid or Metroid fusion. 10 out 10.

My first Metroid game since the original (which I remember being impossible as a child) so I certainly approached it with some trepidation. It is certainly challenging at moments, you will die and perhaps get lost as well. But it never felt too challenging to discourage playing. The story is interesting, the levels are gorgeous (I played on an OLED Switch) and the gameplay is fluid. It really does build on itself so you never feel out of depth or unprepared.

Amazing game. Worth every penny. Hope they make another one like or DLC. Until then, I'm just going to keep replaying this one.

Great complement to the Metroid series. Bosses are challenging and new powers are displayed great in this game.

The game gave me vibes from Fusion on GBA and the final boss fight was epic!

Man this game reminds so much of the orignal, but sooo much better. Good graphics, great storyline and nice challenges throughout.

A sequel to my favorite Metroid game, Metroid Fusion, that certainly does its predecessor justice.

Best 2D Metroid game to date. Challenging, but very rewarding. Super tight controls. Graphics are top notch for the Switch. Seems to be a solid 60fps. This is Metroid 5, so if your interested in the story, and haven't played Metroid Returns or Metroid Fusion. Either play those or watch a YouTube on the story so far. Otherwise its a great game even not being familiar with the story.

Awesome metroid game, the best one ever in my opinion. I like metroid dread best of all the metroid games because it is the easiest in my opinion to navigate and find your way around in. I have to say also this game has to be the tightest controlling 2d game I have ever played. Even if you have never played a metroid game before and you have a switch you owe to yourself to play this game.

Love this game. Metroid is a classic and this modern twist was excellent to play. Great graphics, good bosses, and updated control interactions to keep you engaged. Map function made transitioning throughout the game fun and easily identified returnable areas. Made it a little to easy in the portion though. Could use some dialing back. All around a hreat game and expecting additions in the near future

This is birthday present. Can't give you any details, but saw the previewed I wish i got one for myself.

Hard but fun, really enjoyed playing it. I would recommend it, especially if you liked the original.
