Stunning visuals. Smart gameplay and tons of fun !

It's definitely a good game, but you can notice the big band-aid between different ideas. The plot is ...... let's leave it like that. It has really great sound/music and great visuals on the different level environments.

Great game overall Only issue is the fact it isn’t really a Metroid game It has incredible graphics and is probably the best looking Nintendo first party game But yea not really a Metroid game a heart

This is by far the best looking game Nintendo has ever produced. Mouse controls are very responsive, 4K visuals and 120 fps run very well. Level design can be questionable in some places, but overall solid game. By far the best combat in any Metroid Prime game to date. A must have in any Switch 2 collection.

Very good game. I love the combat and boss design. Some of the design choices with exploring and progression let me scratching my head but these are mild annoyances in a really good game.

Some parts of the game are brilliant. Others a little messy. I didn't mind the NPCs until you have to keep them alive in one big boss battle and their ability to stay alive is terrible ending your game if they die.

This game is an absolute must-have, especially if you played the original Metroid Prime on GameCube. It keeps that classic Metroid feel while looking and running great on the Switch 2. Exploration, atmosphere, and gameplay are all top-notch. Totally worth it for longtime fans.

although it follows a different plotline than the metroid prime trilogy, this still has lots of that old school metroid first person action that we love. Be warned, there is a lot of backtracking.

This is a single player shooting and puzzle solving game. I start playing this and the world dissolves. I can play it for hours without realizing how long I've been at it. My wife has to tell me to stop. Love this game

Wish prime 2 and 3 were on switch as I enjoyed 1 on the switch. Glad a new prime game is on switch and 120 fps is really a great add.

I haven’t played any Metroid Prime games before but I was curious about this one. I think it’s not perfect but have something that I can’t stop playing.

Metroid Prime 4 doesn't rewrite the script for this kind of game, but it does execute it very well. It's fun to play and well worth the cost ... on a per-hour-of-enjoyment basis, I spend way more on Netflix. Probably time to cancel that subsciption!

If you have played the last couple of Metroids its more of the same. Good game, but nothing new and of course lots of backtracking to extend gameplay

I'm glad Nintendo took careful consideration to get this game out polished. It shows their dedication. As far as the game itself, it is captivating with new options available for Samus and the storyline/dialog is entertaining

Great game, always loved the Metroid prime games, ive played every single one and MP4 is a great sequel. Its a bit more linear than MP2 but overall is a great game, and no the NPC's arent as bad as that one youtube video made us all think.

Fantastic game! If you have enjoyed any of the Prime titles, this will be an easy transition for you. If this is your first Prime experience, you’ll love it! Great graphics and gameplay. Cool story.

Having fun exploring. Another great Metroid game. I’ve read other reviews about this game and I don’t understand why it’s received less than stellar ratings. Can’t stop playing it and looks amazing on the switch 2!

I'm about 15 hours into the game and just barely scratching what it has to offer. As a fan of the Prime Series, I am very happy with everything so far and glad we have a "mainstream" title for the Switch 2 finally.

Best looking switch 2 game so far. Awesome sights and boss fights. Only thing holding it back is filler, especially towards the end game.

The game is okay and it's enjoyable to just play a Metroid game, but it falls short in several areas. The open world navigating on a motorcycle feels empty. There's a lack of the classic exploration feel that usually comes with a Metroid game. They fail to utilize the final boss correctly, and a number of boss fights felt empty.
