Metroid fans Beware!!! You will find this game keeping your attention for a long time, plus you will be addicted. It is a fantastic addition to a fantastic franchise!

I purchased the special edition as a gift for my husband. The audio cd is great! The game is very good. I'm really enjoying it! Gorgeous graphics and great gameplay.

If you like 2D metroid games, then you should absolutely pick up this game. It looks and plays great and it's the first new 2D metroid game we've had since the GBA.

Amazing game. Perfect follow up in the series. The best use of 3D that I've ever seen on the 3DS. If you are use to the older 2D game design of Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission, you won't be disappointed at all with the new 3D design. The game is still played on a 2D plane and the old mechanics and exploration is just as it was. Of course new mechanics such as the melee has been introduced but it's all positive. My first playthrough was 15 hours, but that was taking my time and wanting to find everything. Looking forward to future playthroughs. I can't think of any faults with this game.

This was an awesome classic Metroid experience, it will keep you glued to your 3ds until you finish it. I look forward to more entries in the series like this.

A remake of samus return, but if you have played the original, you might as call this a new game. I love every metroid, even other M. this is by far my favo.

The game mechanics help newcomers who have never played a Metroid game before. The game has enough content to justify the price. Soundtrack is great!

Great game love it a lot. So much fun. I enjoyed memories of celceta and this improves on it and keeps everything that was in it that was good

If you're a fan of Metroid, you really can't go wrong. The 3D effect on the 3DS is one of the most impressive uses of 3D on the system. I've shards literally shatter and blow right past your eye and when eye popping visuals take a backseat, there's still really immersive depth in all the different areas. You'll want to keep the 3D slider turned on for this one.

I've only -played like 15min of the game, but love what I've played thus far and the 3d is out of this world (pun intended). Pick this up!

Lots of complaining about how this isn't on Switch, but the 3D is implemented well, and having both screens for item management and the map is quite excellent. 360-degree aiming, good pacing after a somewhat slow start, and some challenging gameplay makes this a nice return to form that gives is hope that we'll see more Metroid titles after Prime 4.

The special edition comes with a soundtrack CD with a mix of tracks from various Metroid games. The game itself is wonderful. The last good 2D style Metroid game was the remake Metroid: Zero Mission, and Samus Returns is on par with how good it is. If you're a Metroid fan, you owe it to yourself to forget Metroid: Other M ever existed and play this.

I enjoyed the story and gameplay in this Metroid game. I’ve been playing it nonstop since the release, the graphics are amazing too.

Samus finally returns in this awesome remake of Metroid II. Comes with a CD of songs from the game. Perfect for any Metroid fan.

I never played the original gameboy version, so it was great to be able to play this updated version. The music is also great.

This game does everything right and will give you a reason to believe that Nintendo is going to bring Samus back to glory.

This game we may call it retro but, it is almost a brand new game. Beautiful from beginning to end.

This game was a lot of fun, and it's great to have a new (albeit "remastered") Metroid game again.
