Great phone with an affordable plan

I've use 3 different models of blackberries with 3 different providers. In my personal opinion I think METRO PCS is the provider of the future, you pay, you talk, end of transaction, so when I heard they had the blackberry I fired my iPhone and it's provider. In reference to this Phone it has everything you need to do everything you have to have done. From games, to finances, to work related tasks and internet borwsing. It's easy to use and the whole concept of SMART PHONE is not a secret for the developers of this phone because the really nailed the concept. the iPhone it's indeed a cool phone and does excel in the area of entertainment because it's basically an iPod touch with the ability to recieve calls, but in the other hand the blackberry it's a workhorse when it comes to have the job done in any area. Metro conected this phone in 3 minutes with the plan, web and everything for only $50 a month UNLIMITED EVERYTHING, so yes, the price hurts but it will pay off soon. Like every cellphone out there it has it's bad side I'm sure but overall it is without a doubt the best smartphone out there right now. So if you never want to deal with nights and weekends, roaming, misterious cellphone bills and want a smart phone you just found it!.

I've gone through alot of MetroPCS phones... I had the black razr, the samsung, the Finesse one. This is the best one I had so far! There is no metro logo on the cell, just the blackberry logo. About the size of a standard guys wallet. Camera takes awesome pics, video is pretty good too. Both use the flash too. It's also connected with the Blackberry server which is cool. I'm used to the samsung messenger (the 2nd one) but after two days of texting you get used to the keyboard! I love this phone, if you have the money, get it! I always buy my cells from bestbuy, plus they have a better return policy then going to the metrostore. thanks bestbuy! oh, you can download apps, but only some will work with it. and you have to buy themes. This also came with a nice 1gb sdhc card but I'm so upgrading to a 16gb! Sometimes I forget I have metropcs as a provides... and when you turn it on, it doesn't say hello, hello unlimit yourself lol

    Easiest Smartphone Around

To start off, the Blackberry curve was a great choice for myself - someone who's looking for a more advanced phone without going over-the-top. If your pockets aren't deep enough for a Blackberry Bold or an Apple iPhone - not to worry - the BlackBerry curve presents each customer with an easy to use interface with a lot of customization ability. Oh, lets talk about the speaker - if your into music on-the-go than you will love this phone. Rivaling the iPhone's speaker, it is loud and clear and sounds well with just about any type of music, whether it be hip-hop, hardcore, or some house music. The battery charges very quickly and lasts a while - usually 2-3 days of constant playing around and whatnot. This is a fantastic phone and is not to be overlooked.

    must have phone!!!

I got this phone about 6 months ago and i loved it!! The feature list is REALLY long and it has a bunch of apps that will help you in everyday life, One of the only cons to this phone is the short battery life, because I have to charge it every day, and that isn't a good thing. If you decide to buy this phone, depending which network you go with you can expect to have a hefty bill, because of internet and email along with all that other stuff, if you go through alltel you can expect to have about a $100 a month bill(or more). if you are a buisness person or have to be on facebook 24/7 you have to have this phone!!!! AND if you buy at best buy with a new plan you can expect to save about $150 on the phone itself. BUY IT REALLY, YOU WONT BE SORRY.

i bought this phone from best buy about a week ago. i love it! it is very easy to use. its also fun to play with. i didnt realize blackberry was this amazing or i would have gotten one a long time ago. i love the $50 a month for everything...especially since i use this for my business. the only thing that bothers me is that the metro lady said that the phone service is able to do everything that a regular cell company could do...and that was not true. because of their 1g internet or whatever i can not watch videos or listen to pandora radio...i found this out after i used the phone for 1 hour, so i could not return it if i wanted too. which i dont. apparently metro will have a 4g internet service early next year.

About 10 days ago I left Metro PCS and went w/ another cell phone carrier to get the Blackberry. I didn't know that Metro had come out with a Blackberry also. I ended up cancelling with the other carrier and went to Best Buy and bought the Metro Blackberry. The activation didn't take long and once I left the Metro store my web was working already. Everything is working great and the web browser is not slow at all. Being w/ Metro means that I will save $720 after the 2 years (the other carriers make you sign a 2 yr agreement). That's alot of money now a days. Yeah the phone might cost $450 but in the long run it will save you money. Also, Metro should be going over to a 4G network in 2010.

    expensive, Metro has awful coverage

I have always wanted a blackberry curve so when MetroPCS came out with it I was enthralled! So i saved up the hefty $480 to purchase it. I brought it home to find that I had absolutley no coverage. Other places I had somewhat coverage, so it may just be that I live in a rural area. Anyway, its a blackberry! It was easy to use and the texting was fast and easy. The camera is to die for, it takes beautiful pictures and you can easily upload them to Myspace or Facebook, wirelessly right after you take the picture! Bottom line, if you want to pay just $50 a month for a blackberry, this is well-worth it; just make sure you have coverage in your area.

Best smart phone I've ever had

I purchased this phone after going through at least a new phone every 6 months. The truth is none of the phones I have had could handle the technology that I desired. I love uploading photos to facebook and myspace with just a click. It has a beauty shot so You can take self portraits of yourself and someone special. I'm a medical student and I found this phone to be the best for notifications and reminders. I really needed a phone that could keep me in touch with everything being away and having a crazy schedule with 3 children at home. I absolutely love my blackberry. I'll never go back.

This phone is just plain awesome. I had the pearl before this one, and the curve is so much better. Honestly, once you start using it, it will become and extension of you. The internet is a little slow, but that is to be expected. The service is alot better than ATT. I almost always have full bars. There are so many things to do on this phone, it's impossible to ever be bored. Just plain awesome, a must buy! And you save plenty of money on Metro PCS, so don't worry about the $400, you basically get it back in savings.

Wow this phone is everthing people said it would be. Fast, easy, cool!! I love it to death. Very easy to use. Activation was a breeze. Unlimited everything, so no worries about internet or going over our text messages. No you tube, but I have a ipod touch for that. There is a lot of websites that have things just for our type of blackberry and message boards to help you out if you get stuck. I love completely satisfied. Plus I got my phone for less because online it's 399 but at the store its 450... just tell them and they should lower the price!

I got my first blackberry on Aug 16th. I had continuous activation problems at first which caused me to almost give up & get another phone so the following day on the 17th, i talked with the best buy sells associate & he help me just as quick as i was about to get my money back :) fast service. I'm still getting use to my brand new blackberry & so far, so good. I would recommend it. Compared to the Samsung Finesse i was about to get, i'm glad i chose the Blackberry!

Metro PCS and Smartphone = Best EVER!

The price is high... but overall you are saving tons of money annually! This smartphone is great... and the combination with Metro PCS unlimited everything for a $50 plan a month... makes it perfect. I was paying $150 on my ATT and I am saving more than half the money every month. Yes, the phone is pricey but I am still saving almost $600 with my switch on carriers. I've had the phone for exactly 1 week and so far so good... I am so happy with my purchase!

I bought my phone in may, its now october and ive had to send my phone in at least 3 times to be fixed already. First the camera stopped working, then the entire phone stopped working, got the motherboard switched out, worked 4 days then died again, got a new battery and charger and it works, but now a few of the keys wont type. This thing is nothing but trouble. I loved it at first, it was attached to my hand. Now i cant wait for a new phone.

The Blackberry is good but the sevice isn't.

The blackberry offers many features such as, a mp3 player, a 2 megapixal camera/video recorder, apps, ...etc. It has a really small but easy to use keyboard due to the keys being raised. The screen is nice for going on the internet, but the metro pcs service is not so great, the internet takes awhile to load, the call service is quite bad, worse then my old At&t and Verizon blackberry curves.

great phone nothing wrong with the phone. but because metropcs still hasnt upgraded their network the blackberry is not fully funcional. example youtube doesnt work. internet radio like slacker radio or iheartradio all get socket errors. other than that im fine with. hopefully metropcs will get on top of things and get their network upgraded soon.
