A good phone for the value!

It's a good phone that lets you hear the other party pretty good. Unlike cheaper phones where voices become tinny and hard to understand, voices sound clear. The phone is equipped with an IR emitter and an app that lets you control a cable box or another TV. this was a bit of a surprise. since I have an LG smart TV, I got to utilize the mouse feature of the TV. This saved me from having to purchase a $50 accessory for my TV. The IR emitter is really tiny though and you need to be pointing the phone at just the right position for it to work. Which can be annoying when you tap on a favorite channel and the cable box doesn't get all the numbers for your desired channel. Photos and video look great. Better than what you can get from an iPad 2. I was able to take video of a pair of deer through a trucks windshield and the only way you could tell there was something there was when the sun glared on the glass. Here's the downside; the internal memory. It's limited to 2 GB. You can add an SD card to increase storage, and you can move some, emphasis on "some," apps to the external SD, but some apps won't move. The Google apps will not move over and occupy at least a fourth of the internal memory. When updates are done, they are stored in internal memory and then installed from there, even for apps that are stored on the external SD. This can be difficult if you are running out of internal memory. As I have not explored use as an MP3 player, I can't really say much about it. I will say that it is tricky getting it linked up in Ubuntu Linux, but not impossible. Finally, there isn't a lot in the way of protection. Most manufactures focus on iPhones and Samsung devices. Even screen protectors seem to be in short supply.

During daytime I get up to 30 Mbps and during the peak hours I get up to 40 Mbps. On average I get 15 Mbps during the day and 24 Mbps at night. the data speed is faster then my home internet!!!!!! for my concern about this phone is the internal memory and it has 1.2 GB of user memory, some downloaded apps I can put on an SD card some I cannot. if you like to take pictures or video on your phone I recommend you buying an SD card. If you only do Facebook and YouTube on your phone this is the best choice for you. T-mobile and Metro PCS run on the same network, I'm with T-mobile and this phone works great for me and it should work great for you on Metro PCS

Iv'e tried the Optimus L9,F3, as well as the L70 and now I have gotten my hands on this F6. This phone has everything I need for business/entertainment...Browsing is fast, call quality is loud and clear...Both the Data and Wi- fi networks work flawlessly. The Video is crisp & clear at 1080P. Still pictures come out good in bright light. One of my favorite features I like is the lighted,multi-color home button. One complaint from many people would give is that the phone has low internal storage, however It is plenty of room for me as there are only a few apps that I need for business. Overall, a great phone at a great price!

I paid $100 for this phone and I absolutely love it. It's an incredible phone for the price, I don't think you'll find a better one for $100 or less. The ONLY issue I have with this phone is that is doesn't have enough internal memory and it comes with way too many apps that you can't get rid of. I bought a micro SD card to help with storage but some of the apps I download still can't be moved to it. So it's basically at the point where if I wan't to download anything else I have to get rid of something first or uninstall updates on the apps that came with the phone. It's annoying, but I can live with it because like I said, that's the only issue I have with the phone. I definitely recommend this phone.

Amazing phone for the sale price

This phone was on sale for $40, an amazingly low price for any LTE phone--but this is more than that. The 960x540 screen is one cut above the 800x480 of the lowest-cost smartphones (e.g., the LG Optimus F3). Its battery is rated at 2460 mAh, again a cut above the previous generation of phones. Perhaps the two greatest disadvantages of this phone are: - Only 4GB of internal space, which may limit how many apps you can load. The phone accepts a microSD, but not all apps will move there. - Only a 5MP camera. Frankly, I nowadays recommend only LTE smartphones. All the carriers are putting their investment into LTE networks--if your phone has no LTE, you are essentially confined to "legacy" networks.

Flagship Features in a Value-Priced Phone

This phone caught my eye as a TODAY'S DEAL,only $39.99 & that was for a brand-new phone, not a refurbished or,open-box item. Any ANDROID phone is worth $40,However,this one has features seen only on phones 10X the price. An I-R Remote Control Blaster on a $40 phone is unheard of,it's worth the price for this feature alone. Whether you're looking for a value-priced phone,a 2nd/back-up phone,LOOK NO FURTHER. This phone shares a lot of the features found on the LG OPTIMUS G PRO,but,in a smaller package. Internal storage is somewhat limited, but, most of that can be overcome by using an SD CARD in the slot provided. Otherwise, this is by far the best value I've come across for a smartphone.

Is a good phone to introduce yourself in an android world ,is a decent powerfull phone with all the characteristics of a expensive one dual core cpu 1.2Ghz , maybe a average ram 1GB, 1.2 GB of user storage for apps you can expand using an sdcard til 32 GB and link2sd making a ext3 partition of 2 GB, has nfc, universal remote control, 5Mp rear camera with led, the front camera could be better just 1.3 MP vs my 2MP from my old one LG P970 optimus black, a nice 4.5 ips display, and a extreme long lasting batttery of 2400 mAh last until 12 hours .can be upgrade his software for one without bloat ware I use xperion best one and dana rom v2, also kk from D505 mod

I bought this to replace my son's LG F3 that went through the washer, never to be heard again. This phone has been far ahead of the F3. He has no problems with it like the F3 had where it would have to be reset, and he couldn't put more than a couple apps on it before it had problems. This one has never given him any trouble and runs like a champ. The battery life has been better as well. He's not a heavy voice user, but he does a lot of texting and watching videos with it. The hotspot has been a life saver when we are away from home and he can connect his iPad via the hotspot.

This is my 4th Smart phone and I would say so far the best phone i have which does not box me in like iPhone. This phone has lot of potential if you are tech gig and would love to do some experiments. Specification wise it has best screen resolution at this price. Camera is average, but workable. I could get read of all bloat applications once I did factory phone reset to recover some space. This has limited free space, but you can easily extend it by adding SD card and using LinkSD application.

This is not a flagship phone, it does the job though. You get 4g lte, nfc, Bluetooth, dual band wifi capable, an infared capable control for your tv, large removable battery and a micro sd card slot. All this for under a $100. The drawback is internal storage is minimal at 1.27 gigabytes but only really about 1 gigabyte is usable. Solution is to root and use links2sd with your mico sd card. Also battery life is awesome. Great phone but only if you are willing to a little work.

This is really Great phone. << Pro >> 1. Price 2. Feature with LTE and full coverage of frequency range 3. Screen size is just right. ( some people may prefer to have larger size though. ) 4. Build quality 5. Battery life << Con >> 1. Internal Memory size is only 4GB which is kind of short if you install all necessary software. You have to decide which ones are critical and necessary, and you have to forget about those 'nice to have' applications due to memory limit.

Have been using the phone for a few weeks and no issue what so ever. Easy to root and unlock should you need to travel oversea. Internal memory quickly run out but you can install a program to make the external microSD card the main memory (involved AParted). The only issue is it does not have display auto brightness control so you have to manually adjust the brightness.

I bought these phones for my wife and my two sons that live at home, and so far everyone is very pleased with them. My thirteen year old boy is in heaven, my thirty year old likes it a lot better than the one he had before. My wife gets a little frustrated, she is not very tech savy, but she is coming around, especially with her work due to the fact she can now access the internet faster than her last phone.

Great phone, would love if it had more internal storage. But as long as you have a sd card you can move majority of the apps to sd card. When playing or on speaker sounds a bit hazy but fine with headphones. Also love the flash led when reeving messages, and notifications. LED lights red when charging pretty cool. Overall a decent phone for the price. Which I got at $99.99 on sale.

This is a really good phone for the price. Once you unlock it ($1-$2), you can use it on any GSM network. It's small, light, great battery life, and get's the job done. It won't stack up to the fancy top end phones, but for what you're paying, it is worth every penny. The only knock I have on it is the low internal memory, so it limits the number of apps you can put on it.

I bought it for my mother for 85 usd and she is addicted to candy crush on it. The size is about right for her, and the display is nice too. If i have to pick one thing it would be the 4 gb storage , after all said and done you get only a gb of free space, just something to remember if you are not in to rooting and stuff

Easy to use and almost zero learning curve. Metro PCS is a great carrier. The micro sd card was easy to install. I used a class 10 32mg card. To be honest I have not loaded enough apps yet to have need for it. Depositing checks with a bank ap is easy. Yes I am a nerd.

Has al of the perks and features of a high end phone like the Galaxy S5 for a fraction of the price. I'm very happy with the functionality of the device and even happier with the price. Also, the handset is very durable. I've dropped it numerous times and it keeps on ticking.

The phone is pretty good for the money however it won't connect to my Toyota 2011 Bluetooth so it's pretty useless and I'll have to buy another phone. I called LG and they basically said too bad we don't support it. I've had 5 other phones and never had a problem connecting any of them. I will not buy another LG again.

Excellent phone.. Wish I would have bought this one first. Originally started out with the L9. The memory space on the F6 is amazing, I can back up the apps to the SD card to make more internal memory. Love all the features that the phone has. So glad that I purchased this phone!!!!!
