Microsoft 365 is exceptional. I like that it gives you options on what you would like backed up to the cloud. It offers continuous updates that keep your computer safer.

New computer, new printer, new Microsoft 365 Personal subscription (have used only Word so far) - what can go wrong? So far only the 88-year-old operator (me) has made extremely rare minor errors. And so far, the Microsoft 365 Personal program and its supporting equipment have been perfect! (When I was in school there was no such thing as an A+. An A was as high as you could get ... and an A it is for Microsoft!)

The product (Microsoft 365) seem to be fine and the installation went smoothly, but since the purchase was done at Best But, as opposed to downloading directly from Microsoft, I sadly discovered that neither Microsoft nor Best Buy will accept responsibility for any problems. They just point the finger at each other.

Microsoft 365 Personal is a comprehensive suite of productivity tools offered by Microsoft, tailored for individual users. Here's a detailed review of its key aspects:
1. Software Suite: Microsoft 365 Personal includes essential software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. These applications are industry standards for word processing, spreadsheet management, presentation creation, email management, and note-taking respectively. They are feature-rich, continually updated, and seamlessly integrate with each other.
2. Cloud Storage: Subscribers get 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage, which allows users to store, access, and share files securely from anywhere. This is particularly useful for accessing documents across different devices and collaborating with others.
3. Updates and Support: One of the significant advantages of Microsoft 365 is that subscribers receive continuous updates to the software, ensuring they have access to the latest features, security patches, and improvements. This eliminates the need to purchase new versions of the software separately.
4. Compatibility: Microsoft 365 is compatible with various operating systems including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. This cross-platform support ensures flexibility and accessibility across different devices.
5. Subscription Model: Microsoft 365 operates on a subscription basis, which means users pay an annual or monthly fee. This model provides flexibility as it allows users to access the latest software versions without the upfront cost of purchasing perpetual licenses.
6. Additional Features: Apart from the core applications, Microsoft 365 Personal includes additional features such as Skype minutes (for calling mobiles and landlines), advanced security features, and tech support. These add-ons enhance the value proposition for users.
Pros:
Comprehensive suite of productivity tools.
1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage.
Regular updates and new features.
Cross-platform compatibility.
Additional features like Skype minutes and enhanced security.
Cons:
Subscription cost may add up over time compared to one-time purchase options.
Dependency on internet connectivity for some features (cloud storage, real-time collaboration).
Conclusion:
Microsoft 365 Personal is an excellent choice for individuals who need a robust set of productivity tools along with the convenience of cloud storage and regular software updates. The subscription model ensures users always have access to the latest technology without large upfront costs, making it suitable for both personal and professional use

Exactly what I expected - I've been using 365 for years on my work computer, and needed it on my home one. Word, Xcel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Defender, and storage on One Drive - I guess I've been pretty spoiled to consider access to all of them as no big deal. I wish One Drive was not so persistent in trying to sync everything all the time.
Includes the usual aggravations of Microsoft - various pet peeves that we live with because we want the industry standard, and that we've found work-arounds for to accomplish what's needed. (such as, do image manipulations in Powerpoint, and then copy/paste them into Word). I got a discount on the price when I purchased my computer, but full price isn't too bad.

I have used Microsoft products for 30+ years and find the current office suite to be the best yet. I use Word and Excel on a daily basis because they are quick, easy to use and exacting in their performance.

I love being able to add and use it on all my devices at once never missing a beat. I use Microsoft 365 Personal on my desktop, cell phone, and tablet which allows me to always stay in touch and connected to everyone in my group. Excel is great for creating budgets, keeping track of your money, and knowing where all your money went while planning your wedding or honeymoon trip.

Very nice laptop - it's exactly what I was looking for. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Ordering and picking up from the store was easy. The young lady working the counter at the store was very nice and friendly. I was desperately in need of a newer, updated laptop and this one fits the bill!

I honestly didn’t think buying Microsoft Office would make such a big difference, but it really has. The purchase was simple and fast, and the installation took just a few minutes. Everything worked immediately without any problems, which was a big relief.
What surprised me the most is how much smoother my daily work feels now. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint open instantly, and the programs run without lag — even when I’m multitasking. The layout is clean and familiar, so I didn’t need time to learn anything new.
Creating documents is easier, my spreadsheets stay organized, and my presentations look much more professional. It feels like a tool that actually helps me stay productive instead of slowing me down.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I definitely would. Totally worth it and highly recommended.

I use a MacBook and have for many years. For decades, because I was an educator, I had free access to Microsoft programs (even on my home computer). Until this purchase, I had been without Microsoft for about 6 years—relegated to Google Drive against my will—and I AM THRILLED to have these programs again. And let me say, KUDOS TO MICROSOFT! These programs are so much more powerful now, structured with intuitive technological cohesion that creates a natural streamlined collaboration between programs, making its capabilities top tier. The Google platform has its own, very different value, but there’s no reason to be trapped there anymore with OneDrive. I promise you won’t regret this purchase—best money I’ve spent in years. I couldn’t be happier to be back in MICROSOFT!
