Great looking little mouse with everything in one

This little bluetooth mouse's design and colors perfectly match my new coconut white sony vaio, and it includes the batteries and a good little case so you don't need to worry about a thing when you purchase this! However, no dongle as other people say. But really, why would anyone even bother purchasing a bluetooth mouse if their labtop or w/e device they might be purchasing it for doesn't already have a bluetooth antenna integrated? To me that is just stupid because USB wireless mice is much cheaper and works better. Bluetooth is all about convenience. My labtop has it built in which is why I purchased it. To save the battery on it, I've only used this mouse for 1 day and storing it turned OFF in its little case. But that one day was enough for me to discover about every feature on it. I rebooted my labtop multiple times that day and never had to reconnect/configure this mouse ever again (I do run a windows 7 on my system). The initial set up was very easy, although the green and red flashing in the battery indicator got me a little worried at first because I thought the battery was already low which I just unpacked! but that was just the mouse looking for a connection. I almost never read the manuals so this kinda problem is common for me. Obviously, I havent had the chance to check out the battery life on this, which I am a little worried about since there are a lot of negative feedbacks regarding this issue, but i'll just try to be as conservative as possible. I mean, labtops always have their mousepads..right? Oh, and lastly, the size of this mouse is just about right. not big, not TINY, but a little tiny(?). just the right sized labtop mouse lets put it that way.

    What a Great Mouse

My old wireless mouse transmitter stuck out of the side of the laptop and kept getting in the way. The new laptop has built-in Bluetooth so that seems like a reasonable solution. I have been using this mouse for a couple of months. The only negative is that batteries only last about a month with daily, all day, use. I might be able to stretch this out by using the power switch located on the bottom but it is a real pain turning it off and on several times a day. I do turn it off at night. Everything else about this mouse is positive. Tracking is fast and accurate. The size is a little smaller than the old mouse but within a day I didn't even think about that. I use it for several games with no problems. When I first turned it on and pared it with Windows 7, it has never failed to work after that. A bit pricey but still a great buy. Not at all sorry I bought it. If you can handle the battery life, go for it. It just works!

Works well with Mac OS X

The box claims that this bluetooth mouse 'works for both Mac and PC.' While that is true in that this mouse will get picked up by OS X right out of the box, the button customization they advertise does not function so well under OS X Leopard. First you have to find the download on the MS website, not an easy task on their massive page, and install the System Preferences plugin. The current version must not have been written for Leopard because the plugin didn't correctly identify this mouse, hence the thumb button does not have a customizable dropdown and is therefore useless because no function can be assigned to it. I would still recommend this mouse, however, because it works very well otherwise, including the scroll wheel. For those with large hands this tiny mouse may be a bit uncomfortable, but it's small size is also means this mouse travels well. And it comes with batteries! Bonus!

I needed a wireless mouse for my windows laptop at work. I was looking for something that would provide similar functionality as my Magic Mouse for my Mac. Although it's not quite the Magic Mouse for a Windows based machine this is a great alternative. It has a back button near your thumb which is convenient, however it would be nice if there was a forward button on the right side towards the top. Also I love that it is bluetooth so it will connect with my Windows Laptop without having to put in any adapter or use up a usb port. All in all I would definitely recommend this mouse.

    Great Mouse!

I've really enjoyed this mouse. I've used a wireless USB mouse for a long time now, and wanted to try not having to deal with a dongle. I read a lot of mixed reviews about this product when purchasing it, but have been thoroughly impressed. The sensitivity is amazing, I can use it on any surface. Also, the range is awesome. I can use it on the other side of the room when I have my computer plugged into the TV. My only concern is that it is fairly expensive. Other than that, it's the best mouse I've ever used. I would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone. My word of advice to you, however, be sure you have bBuetooth on your laptop before purchasing this mouse.

    Mouse Trap

The Mouse was discovered and the setup process could not have been more simple. The tracking is good. This is only the good review I will give. The wheel was noticeably noisy. The third button was placed in a uncomfortable area. The main complaint that I have is the fact that the mouse would not stay connected. If idle for awhile, wiggling the mouse or clicking any of the buttons would not wake it up and have it reconnect. I tested it on a Mac and a PC. I had to have it be rediscovered again. When first starting your computer, the mouse would not be available on the log on screen. I would not recommend this product even with the sale price of $35.

    Great alternative bluetooth mouse

Im not sure how the previous user is having the problems with it.. I found it very simple to set it up. Also, for mac, there is a setting in the bluetooth settings to allow bluetooth mice and keyboards to wake up the machine.. maybe the previous user didnt have the checked off.. I have been using the mouse for two days now and I cannot think of anything negative to say about it.. The scroll wheel isnt very loud at all.. I have had other mice that are really loud while scrolling, and this one you can barely here it when its on your desk.. great deal when it was only $35 since apple sells it mighty mouse for $60 and never on sale..

    Decent, but not as advertised

If you don't need/ want a 'back button,' then this mouse if for you. It tracks with lightning speed, is relatively easy to pair (with a Mac), and is very, very reasonably priced. However, the back button does NOT work. The default setting for the back button is 'All Windows' and there is NO way to reprogram that. Microsoft's gigantic website wasn't helpful to find the correct software. After speaking with someone at Microsoft's customer service, I was informed that none of the current Bluetooth mice are completely compatible with the OS platform to allow use of the back button. That small piece of information should be made known.

This mouse is cheap.... Uses 2 AAA batteries and lasts about 3 weeks of use (about 1-2 hrs a day). The tracking is obviously lagging about 2-70ms when compared to most conventional (non-bluetooth) wireless mouse, huge drawback for gamers and designers, but this is a problem with ALL bluetooth mouse. When transferring large data over Wi-Fi or in a room with lots of other 2.Ghz wireless connections, this mouse lags to the ground with cursor flying across the screen when the mouse is moved. I'd recommend the Logitech V470 over this mouse, it is more stable and the battery life is much better.

    Action pretty poor

I got this mouse for my MacBook Pro. I like the Bluetooth concept, but didn't like the Mac MightyMouse. I thought this might be a reasonable alternative. However, this mouse drives me nuts. Aside from the less than stellar battery life, the action is horrible. It's difficult to depress the mouse buttons...nothing smooth about it. For the money, it's pretty sad. I'm probably going to go back and get something with much better action for a much smaller amount of money. The only drawback in doing that is that I'll have to give up a USB port. But it will be worth it.

I found this on the Discount open box table for $25.00 and after I installed the Bluetooth chip for my Latitude D620 I wanted a cool mouse to go with the new added feature and this fit the bill. Its small and light and even though it uses 2 AAA battery's, I only have to change them once a month "average 30-35 days" I use this thing more like a desktop mouse and it gets around 14 hours of use daily. I used to turn it off at night but I seem to get 3-4 more days on a set of battery's just letting it go to sleep. The bag that it comes in is pretty sweet also!

This is a really great mouse. It has blue tooth comparabilities, so your not limited to using it just for your computer. Everything is really good on it, the accuracy, the style, and even the little traveling pouch that comes with it. The only huge con that this mouse has, is that it likes to disconnect alot. When the computer goes into screen saver, I can't use the mouse to wake it up. I have to use the mouse on my laptop and then the bluetooth mouse starts working. Plus on the back, the switch to turn the mouse on and off is really hard to use.

I am very satisfied with this mouse. Great form and fits in the hand nicely. I would say I have an above average hand size and it is extremely comfortable. I really love the design, nice simple 3 button with the scroll wheel. I use this mouse with both my iMac and Dell laptop. Very small so it travels nicely for business trips as well. My iMac and Dell discovered it immediately. I have had the mouse for roughly 6 months and just recently replaced the batteries for the first time. Great mouse, I highly recommend it!!!!!

    Great Bluetooth Mouse

I have a laptop that came will bluetooth and it interfaced flawlessly. I bought a second one for my wife's laptop. The only complaint is with the instructions. It is so easy to step-up that you don't need the instructions. The instructions covers setup, but it doesn't detail any operations. My wife found a little extra button underneath her thumb (right handed) and ask me what does it do. Turns out to be a back browser button, but the instructions doesn't tell you that.

    Typical Microsoft Junk

Bought this mouse as it was the only bluetooth mouse at Best Buy. I was very hesitant because it is made by Microsoft. My intuition was correct. Switched the batteries after two weeks of usage because it quit working. Seemed to work for a bit. After about two more days of usage can't get the mouse to function at all. I have another bluetooth mouse from Sony used on the same laptop but keep at home. The Sony bluetooth mouse has been rock solid.

This mouse is not over priced. Those logitech wireless mice with the nano usb adapters are over priced. I bought this mouse even though my laptop did not have integrated bluetooth. Why, you ask? Well, I got this nice laser laptop mouse and a nano usb bluetooth adapter for slightly more than the price of one of the other mice I mentioned earlier, and now I can bluetooth connect to my phone, mp3 player, etc. And it looks pretty cool.

Automatically detected and configured on my Asus eeePC 1000/Linux now running Ubuntu Linux OS (instead of default Xandros Linux install). Easy to use, points very well, scrolls very well. Fits my hand just fine, however, my hands are not very large. If you have a larger hand, I might suggest trying one before buying. In regards to value, I bought this as a Cyber Monday deal, I would not have paid full price for this device.

    Reliable bluetooth mouse

This mouse paired quickly and stays paired every time with my Windows 7 Dell laptop. I think it's pretty small and not as comfortable as my full size wireless mouse but this bluetooth mouse links with my laptop's internal bluetooth so i don't have to waste one of 3 usb ports on a mouse connector. I wish the mouse was bigger. I think my husband's big hands would not do well this quite small mouse.

    Microsoft Blue Tooth Mouse 5000

Overall, this mouse is just a mouse, but it works without wires :). It is quality, as I expect from Microsoft. I haven't customized the mouse yet (buttons). It is compact for a laptop and convenient. The battery indicator is a great feature! The mouse does not respond sometimes though. If I wait about a minute, it will respond. I like it, it is perfect for my laptop so that I can use the USB ports for other things.

    Amazing Bluetooth Mouse

I've had this mouse for a few months now and it is working great. I didn't want a regular wireless mouse that comes with a dongle because my laptop has bluetooth. The connection is quick and I've never had any problems with this. The size is small, compact and fits well in my back pack. This is not a desktop replacement, but rather a mouse to use on the go. For that it is spectaclar.
