This is a good wireless setup. I think the keyboard feels a little slick around the edges, but the keys themselves have a good texture and the action is pretty good. It's a little strange for me to go back and forth from chiclet type laptop keys to the deeper feel of this keyboard, but for those who really always want the full keyboard, it will be fine. One excellent thing is that it's very secure on my desk. It does not slide around (though of course I can put it wherever I want), and it feels pretty solid. The keys maybe feel a little less plush than a more expensive model might, but it really does the job just fine for me, and is mcuh better than a super cheap one would be. I'd say it's a good bet over the super bargain bins, without seeming a bit over priced for...well...a keyboard and mouse. The usb action works great, and it's nice to not deal with wires as my desk setup is crowded enough already. But I can easily transition between my two computers with this (as long as I use the right dongle, as the USB received is USB A, not USB C). The mouse is very typical. It's a standard size mouse with good action on the buttons and the scroll wheel. It's slightly textured, much like the keys on the keyboard, so not totally slippery but not exactly a super lovely thing to hold, I guess. It's...fine. Does the job. If you are someone who mouses more than types, I don't know if you'll love it, but I don't think it's bad in anyway. Very basic average mouse that works well. It works better than the other mice in my household, to be honest. The optical sensor seems quite good as well, very responsive. I've used this setup with mac and pc. It obviously is built for PC but can work fine as long as you're adaptable and can think about getting around the special keys for mac. It's worth it to me to be able to get off the laptop and have a more comfortable setup at home to deal with that, rather than shell out for the ridiculous magic keyboard. Since the Mac is my work machine and not my personal machine, this is especially the case for me. It's a simple and relatively low-cost solution that works. Two other issues: the caps lock button does not have an indicator light. I knew this when I bought the machine, but it is a little annoying. I don't need full on backlighting on this kind of utility piece, but an indicator light would be nice. Also, the keys just feel a little spaced out to me. I make more mistakes typing on this keyboard, but that's probably just because I'm more used to squished laptop keys and not this more contoured and somewhat larger surface. Also, the keys on traditional keyboard like this one rub up against each other rather than have space in between. So it's just a little different feel. It is nice to have a number pad again, though.

No problems using and setting up the devices. Just be sure to stay within range of the adapter and mouse. It gets a little wonky if you're too far away.

I purchased this keyboard because the one that came with my new desktop computer was wired. It was easy to connect and works great. It was on sale, so the price right. I recommend this keyboard for general use.

I love this set. I previously owned the 800 model for a few years without any problems. It survived multiple coffee and water spills as well as the mousing getting dropped on the floor. I've used that keyboard and mouse until the letters came off. When I saw this on sale it was a no brainer - time for a replacement. This is the 850 model but I don't notice any difference whatsoever. It is the same exact design/layout as the 800. Keyboard layout is great, mouse has a red laser that is very precise (better than invisible optical in my opinion), and the scrolling is tactile yet smooth. My old set's battery life lasted forever, I think I changed the batteries once a year, so I expect the same out of this. Compared to other keyboards I've tried from Logitech, Microsoft far exceeds performance and ergonomics.

Affordable option for creating a wireless desktop experience. Keyboard is comfortable and the keys DO NOT stick unlike other keyboards I have purchased in the past. Wireless mouse is easy to use and both are recognized by your computer immediately making setup a breeze.

HP Keyboard, Wireless Desktop 850, with Mouse

I purchased this HP Keyboard, as it was similar to mine & it's wireless. It's very comfortable to us & works well. What I don't care for is that there is not a light letting me know that the CAP LOCK is on or the NUM LOCK is on. It's difficult when you're entering a password (for instance) & you can't tell if they're on or not. I would not purchase this again for that reason, only.

As the summary says, this keyboard combination is a good, durable keyboard. It is a basic keyboard, offing not on the expensive upgrades like curved, angled or slanted but it does exactly what a keyboard and mouse should do. Both are connected wirelessly via USB and both are quick and responsive. This is a good choice and at the price, it's perfect.

Good for the price, but there are definitely better options out there if you are willing to spend the extra $. I only bought this to hold me over until my job sent me replacement. While I used it, it did the job. However one thing I noticed was that the mouse scroll bar started to jump. As soon as I got my replacement I put this product back in its box and in my closet

This is an inexpensive, but very functional, set of keyboard and mouse. No cords to get tangled in the rest of my corded devices. It works well and is in contrast to one I had that was 'giving up the ghost'. I now can type at my usual speed without major difficulties and stuck keys.

I highly recommend this wireless mouse and keyboard combo. It's been over a month of use. I use it for work and it has yet to fail me. Before, I would need to disconnect my laptop which is connected to an external monitor, mouse and keyboard cause I need to be on the go. Problem is, when I get back and need to reconnect the mouse and keyboard, sometimes the usb connection does not recognize the mouse and/or keyboard. The solution would be to restart my laptop--which is a pain in the behind when you're in the middle of something (a 30 minute delay, at the very least). With this mouse and keyboard combo, I just leave the wireless usb receiver and when my laptop is docked on my desk, my mouse and keyboard are automatically connected. For me, this has been the type of solution I've been waiting for. I wish I would have known about this sooner. it took my wired mouse to go bad for me to even consider this wireless setup. Anyway, I highly recommend it. So far so good, Been reliable for me--no hiccups.

A great keyboard with a mouse to go with my new laptop. I found years ago that typing on a laptop computer actually slows my typing speed down. So, I needed a keyboard to use with my laptop computer, and this one came with a mouse too. I couldn't have asked for more for the price. Works great!

This wireless keyboard and mouse have worked great so far. I've had no problems and love the feel of the keyboard. The mouse is basic, but thats what I wanted as I have no use for any extra buttons/features. Was a little concerned it wouldn't be that great at only $20, but I was wrong and now think it was a great deal!

I replaced my "wired" wireless keyboard due to being worn out. I didn't realize how worn out it was. This is a great wireless keyboard and mouse combination. I purchased the product on sale; however, even not on sale, it is a great value. The keyboard is responsive, offers keypad, and quick connect with no wires. Highly recommend!
