This wireless keyboard/mouse combo replaced a generic keyboard/mouse combo I had made the mistake of buying from another vendor over the summer. The generic combo had the typewriter-style keys I prefer, but felt a bit flimsy, and was far too prone to "stuttering" (repeating a typed character from a single keypress). This Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse combo was actually slightly cheaper than the generic combo had been (thanks to great holiday-sale pricing), includes a full-size mouse, and comes from a trusted brand. It doesn't have some of the glitzier features of gaming keyboards and mice (such as backlighting), but I could live without those features at this price point. I use a computer all day at work, so I'm very comfortable with using a standard business-style keyboard like this at home. The Microsoft Desktop 850 wireless keyboard/mouse combo is a value-priced but well-built combination of a full-size keyboard with typewriter-style keys and a full-size mouse, and would be a great addition to any computer setup. Highly recommended!

This keyboard is a good price and has everything you need to setup your desktop wirelessly. does great to sleep and save battery life.

The price of the keyboard for what you are getting is convenient! The mouse is the perfect size and easy to maneuver. Battery life is great, no complaints.

First, the price was good. For less than $25 it's a keyboard AND mouse. While shopping I was expecting to pay that for each. Next, it's very sturdy. For the price I expected a flimsy product but it is well made. Typing is fast, both in using the solidly made keys and in response time to the system, and the mouse is very responsive. I preferred an IR device over Bluetooth because conflicting radio signals have made my bluetooth devices cut out while IR just worked. The same with this keyboard/mouse.

Would have a 5 star rating except I didn't realize before I bought, open and started using the keyboard/mouse - that they keyboard does not have a light to tell you when caps & number lock are on. Did not realize how important those actually were until they are gone. Not sure why they were left of; but it's actually quite aggravating to not have them. Bought this keyboard for work, as my work laptop keyboard stinks and I do not have many USB ports.

Easy to use, got this as a back up key board. Not difficult to set up. Good for the price.

This is my first Wireless keyboard and mouse and it is simple with a full keypad. The battery life is decent and serves the purpose for my home office

This purchase replaced the exact same model I had had for many years. The old keyboard gave out and because I was so used to the feel, and the exact same model was still being made by Microsoft, it was a no-brainer to replace the old set with a new one. It is a very economical set to purchase and has a full number pad which I need for work. Easy setup; remove from box, plug in dongle and you are off to the races. Highly recommend this set.

When two keys stopped working on my laptop computer, I was afraid I would have to spend a lot of money to repair them. Instead, however, this wireless keyboard was a great solution.

Love having a wireless keyboard and mouse at work, and this set was inexpensive and worked great the first time.

The keyboard and mouse are both very responsive and easy to use. Set up was easy. There is a single USB connector that you connect to the USB port of your computer or laptop that connects both. I would give this product 5 stars, except that the caps key does not have a light when you press it. Otherwise, very good product for a very reasonable price.

for the money, can't beat this combo. This is the second one I've purchased, works great!

The keyboard and mouse sync’d effortlessly to my Dell laptop with a faulty keyboard. Price was an extra bonus!

Not bad for a wireless keyboard and mouse. Mine are close to laptop so i dont know the distance issues. Works fine for the money
