You get what you expect, it’s an elite controller, lasted me almost 3 years of consistent use so that’s a big plus especially with all the removable parts

I've had other Elite controllers in the past (Series 1), and the updated Series 2 definitely feels like an update. The Red version is visually very pretty, feels great to hold in your hands, and the textured grips are great. It does feel like a premium product.

So far this controller has held up better than the battery operated ones. Those kept giving out or not connecting to the Xbox. My son is kinda rough on his things and so far I’m satisfied with the durability. I also got the 2 year coverage just in case.

Didn't want the elite controller, because I have no need for the paddles. Being able to change the triggers and stick is amazing. Can also create different modes based on the current game you're playing. So if you dont mind the less equipment this controller comes with compared to the black elite controller. Its an Excellent!! Purchase!

Worth getting it over the full elite controller bundle as you can save on the accesories by buying third party ones for much cheaper. Got this version for $93 with the BB+ membership so it was even better. No hall effect sensors but its for regular use

Great Controller. Has lasted me a good while with moderate use. Hasn’t shown signs of any wear so far. Everything works as it did when I bought it. Overall very happy with this purchase. Definitely will recommend and purchase again if needed

Very capable peripheral. Comfortable to hold, and the placement of the paddles feels natural to my grip. The connectivity options, settings app and battery are amongst my favourite features. It feels durable.
My criticisms would be #1 price. In my opinion Microsoft aren’t the only guilty ones but the whole Controller market is quite messed up with their prices. A regular controller $60-70? So you buy 4 of them and you are essentially almost buying another console… No controller should cost +$150, it doesn’t matter how many features they have. Personally, 100-120 is a more proper price for a controller of this caliber, though.
#2 Why aren’t you giving me the wireless USB receiver included? Add $10 to the total value if you want, but you are already giving me almost the whole set, just add the receiver to the bundle for the next gen.
#3 $25 for a USB wireless receiver is stupid… there is just no way that little piece of plastic costs that much.
#4 In my case, off the box, I was getting way too much input delay. I managed to lower it through the Xbox app settings to the point where it feels as instant as my old DS4 controller.
It is annoying though. After doing a lot of research, apparently it turns out that Xbox controllers in average have higher input delay than PlayStation controllers on PC off the box. This shouldn’t be a thing, especially with a +$150 “pro elite” controller.
Because of this last issue, for the whole first week of use I was thinking about returning it. I was close to returning it but the other features were so good they made me want to find a workaround or something that it would help me lower the input delay. In the end I kind of found my answer through the accessories app.
Currently I’m happy with the controller. Not sure if I would recommend though. If you can afford it, just because of all the cool features give it a shot and if you don’t like how it feels in game then return it.

Excellent controller! Easily customizable and the feel is solid compared to other controllers I have owned. feels more like a quality tool than a toy.

I am not a professional gamer. I picked this up because they didn't have any other controllers in stock. I didn't think much of this controller until I played around with it a bit and started noticing subtleties of ability to configure that made my experience more reactive and more involved or immersive. I didn't know the thumbsticks were magnetic and I didn't know that you could turn them left or turn them right to tighten up or loosen up the control of the stick which is pretty cool. The ability to select the trigger depth for quicker reaction is fun although I found I kept going back to not putting any tension on the trigger because it was just more comfortable to me. My only complaint is the design of the controller itself I feel that the black nubby grip sides should be a little bit longer I find after a few hours of gaming that I don't like the grip compared to the PlayStation experience. I don't agree that the price point should be $200, I think 125 would suffice but I don't know. I didn't realize until I bought this that this is not a removable battery type wireless charger, it's a Lithium-Ion rechargeable so you get eight solid hours of gameplay off this thing without having to recharge it. Compared to having to put batteries in your controller every so often, I love this lithium ion battery option. PlayStation gives you that by default but again subtleties here.
