Great Bundle with a Nice Bonus

I love games in general. They're a big part of my life, in more ways than one. Let me start off with that. Now this is an amazing deal. I get FF13, a 360, 2 wireless controllers, a free (instead of $50) face plate, and a unique 250 gb hd. *The game itself is great, not only for the great addition to the series', but the simple fact that it's a well made game. The characters are great visually, the writing is decent, the voice acting was decent...The combat is amazing. But that's all been said, so I'll simply say I've enjoyed it, and for a more in depth review....Look up reviews from other companies, including a certain TV show's 4/5 review. They voice my opinion near perfectly. *The 360 so far has performed well, and I've taken care not to leave anything sitting on top of it in case that might make it start overheating like my brother's previous 360 did...The threat of a red 2 ring of overheating, or a 3 ring of red death is there, but with the default 3 year warranty or so, I shall not have to worry until I'm 19, at which point I should have a job of my own to cover any potential replacements I should hope. *The unique HD is beautiful, and helps differentiate it visually from any potential HDDs my brother or I may get, thanks in part to it's unique engraving. The large size has also allowed me to install all of my games, and the 4 games my friend has lent me, as well as the few games I've had rented from block buster, along with DLC...and still I have 115 GB left...And that's gone back up since removing some things. This ensues it doesn't have to work entirely off the CDs, which can help alleviate, or at least slow I should hope, any overheating concerns in the future. *The 2 controllers, even without battery packs, are a nice, and much appreciated, bonus. They compliment the Spartan 360 controller I've been using for awhile now (And that will probably be saved for multiplayer games only now, to avoid any potential wear). *The entirely black headset was an unexpected bonus, but a bonus none the less. It allows it to be identified as mine, and not be confused with my brother's headset(s), due to his old 360 and it's replacement. *The face plate offer advertised on the page for this I took full advantage of, and am enjoying it immensely. I was wondering why so many people reviewed it not so great for the face plate, lamenting the fact that it was $50 when it was a unique 1 run face plate...and the offer to get it free via the 360 was right there under the 'Great Financing' link....Which is made doubly odd as many of them did indeed buy this bundle and lament the fact once more.... *Finally being able to play 360 games on my own 360 rather than being forced to use my brother's all the time is a great thing. I can enjoy my own games whenever I want, because his 360 was overheating if the games weren't installed to the HD...Which pretty much meant I could only play the game he currently had installed...Not having to do that anymore is great, and it far outweighs any DLC losses from DLC I was using from his account on his 360. I plan to simply buy the DLC I want whenever I get spare money... *The price is a great bonus. I didn't expect 2 controllers, or even the face plate. But if you take a look at the prices... Separately, an elite would've been 299.99, 2 white controllers would've been 49.99 each, and that right there is 399.99; the price of the bundle. Then we've got the 59.99 FF13, and the 49.99 FF13 Face Plate, which I got for free. By looking at these costs...in a sense, I got not only the Face plate but FF13 itself 'for free' by buying this bundle. A great deal for anyone who wants a 360 and has been on the fence. It may not include a multiplayer game with it, but a great game this is none the less.

    Reasonable Deal

Okay, so just to break it down in a few words, worth the buy if you are gonna get one in the spring/summer. With the FFXIII bundle you get twice the storage space of an elite and some DLC for the game. If you bought a game and a 2nd controller with the Elite you would actually pay $10 more. If you want a black one there is a rumor about a black bundle the same as this, but with another game (maybe splinter cell or something) coming in April. I am really disappointed that the FFXIII faceplate is going to be sold separately and all you get is an engraved hard drive to identify the system. Good news for you, there are a ton of excellent skins on Ebay. If the faceplate or controller skins came with this bundle I would give it a 5. Best Buy should step it up and either offer the faceplate with this or give you a discount on it when it comes out, to separate them from the other providers. Just because Microsoft and Square can't get it right doesn't mean Best Buy has to follow suite.

    Awsome XBOX 360 bundle!

I pre-orderd this system after I found out it would include FFXIII, which I was going to get anyways, therefore I decided to upgrade from my old XBOX 360 at the same time. This XBOX 360 comes with a 250 GB hard drive as you might know and thats a good thing if you have alot of XBOX Live games or videos like I do. The hard drive is emblazoned with the FXIII name/logo on top and is only available with this bundle. Along with a black headset mic, 2 Wireless controllers and HDMI port for high-definition gaming this bundle is a great product for people who want to upgrade from their old system. The only thing I would note as a con to all the pros of this XBOX is the fact that it comes with only a 1 year warranty (technically 14 months).

    Great console, great game

Great console, love the games and xbox live. I do a lot of multimedia and download hd movies, so the 250gb hard-drive is great. Xbox Live is a great service that compliments what you can do with your Xbox360, and while you need to pay to use Xbox live Gold, It's well worth it (and only at $5 a month!? C'mon!). I play a ton of multiplayer games online and have a complete blast. Well worth the $5 a month from me. I buy a lot of used games at stores, though - so I end up paying around $5-$12 for games I would have normally paid $60 for. Graphics may be inferior to the ps3, but in the long run I prefer the Xbox360 just because of the way the system is set up and all the cool titles on it.

I just had to write this review based off of the first review, first there are not 3 disc in order to play final fantasy 13 there is only 1just to let you know mr new jersey person. The graphics are never drastic between the 2 systems of xbox and ps3 considering the graphics usually looks better on the 360 anyway. On to the actual review from me. I myself couldn't wait for ffxiii to come out and now that it is xbox is even better. Now any and basically everyone can finally play of, if not the best rpg franchise ever created. Oh and haven't 2 controllers, a game, more than twice the storage of an regular elite and a face plate all for a hundred dollars extra is amazing.

Xbox 360 is amazing on it's own. More then likely you have used or at least seen an Xbox 360 perform by now. This one is amazing because of the limited edition HDD that it comes with 250GB. Until recently, the only way to get the large HDD is by buying a select limited edtion bundle Microsoft has released. Being packaged with Final Fantasy makes it an even sweeter deal. You also get a voucher for FFXIII DLC (For your Xbox Live Avatar) and as of this posting, the only place to get the DLC is in this bundle. Xbox 360 is one of the more graphically advanced consoles of this generation, and with the addition of Final Fantasy, it's quickly becoming one of my favorites.

My old Xbox 360 red ringed and I was devastated! Then I heard about this bundle and thought this was too good to be true! It includes so much for a great price! For only $100 more than the Elite Bundle you get an extra controller, the FFXIII game, a bigger hard drive, FFXIII DLC and a free faceplate! When I started playing on the new Xbox 360, I was amazed at how much cooler it runs than my old Xbox 360 and how much smaller the AC adapter is compared to the old one! I am very pleased with my purchase and I'm kinda glad my old Xbox 360 broke, so I could get this amazing deal!

Every game must only be played with only one profile and I'm getting sick of the switching back and forth. Microsoft will never let you transfer paid for points from one account to another either. I'm getting away from microsoft and plan on buying a PS this year with many games for it. I should have went with my 1st thoughts about this system. Very soon xbox is going down and you won't find a movie that will play on it either. Blu-ray is the standard in months from now and PS 3 has this built in. PS3 owners are not unhappy and I'm going to be one of them.

I made the switch to xbox and I am very pleased with the system. It will take quite a while to fill up that 250gb hard drive. It costs $400, but it comes with everything you need. PLUS FF13, which can be frustrating at times, but if you are a fan of final fantasy (which, if you are considering buying this, I should hope so) it is a pretty great game. Very challenging at times and the battle concept is a great twist. I shall rank this as my best purchase of '2010.

The only bad thing as I've said is the power brick. But I'm pretty sure all of the 360 Elites come with this same power brick and it could have been my outlet I was using. So I've switched outlets but since I haven't played a real long session on it. Other than that it's a great value for the price. Almost forgot, I hate wireless controllers just because you go through batteries way too fast! You could shell out an extra $20 for that charger thing, but that's another $20 (and yes I know in the the long run that'll save you money).

What's not to love? It's an xbox 360 after all. It has tons of games to pick from and an awesome online gaming area! Plus Gears of War! This unit came with two controllers and the 250 gig HD. FF 13 is a good game, but seems to lack where other FF games excelled. Overall it is still a good game though. Would say Lost Odyessy is the better pick for the classic FF play style. But I digress, now I just hope my xbox dies while it is under warranty!

Had the Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite Console Resident Evil 5 Bundle before, which I sold before I got this one. Went from a 120gb-250gb hard drive, a brand new console, a $60 game compared to RE5 only being 30 at that point, got 2 controllers instead of one, plus a free faceplate. Was a great upgrade. Also being a bigger fan of Final Fantasy than Resident Evil, I had to have it.

We are enjoying this overall so far. Had to take the first one back within the second week of purchase due to a problem with loading disks. Our second one is working great. We love having Netflix on it and being able to watch movies on our tv. Looking forward to being able to access the internet with it in the near future. Final Fantasy game is amazing and the teens LOVE it. Great graphics and story line. We are pleased with our purchase.

Here are the Good about it: You get a 250 hard drive(That is Customized), The game, Two wireless controllers, Exclusive Avatar items, and a headset FOR A GOOD PRICE. Here are the Bad: The xbox wasn't customized with pictures and designs. I expected some final fantasy stuff on it instead of plain white. I also expected the limited edition strategy guide to be with it. I say from now on all bundles should have customized xbox's with strategy guides as well.

I was looking forward to getting this product mainly because it came with the 250gb hard drive and it was a huge upgrade from the 20gb i was currently using. the added bonus of the preorder faceplate was nice too. Also this comes with some xbox live avatar redeem codes, which i did not know about. a really cool system, and a decent deal because it comes with the game and 2 wireless controllers.

I had just purchased an HDTV with my taxes. I then realized if I wanted an hdmi hookup for my xbox, I would have to buy a new one of those also. So I bought this bundle. I love FF games and was satisfied with the purchase. I really wished MS could have tossed me a $30 hdmi cord rather than a second controller, but whatever. I'm still happy with this purchase and am enjoying the game very much.

It's just like an Elite system, but you get a larger hard drive and a game, plus an extra controller. For just $100 more. That's a fantastic value. And if you were wondering if it says Final Fantasy Xiii all over it, don't worry. It's only on a small 4x1 area on the hard drive. Very none intrusive. So anyone wanting a new system can purchase this without having to be a Final Fantasy fan.

Over all a great buy and quick in getting here too, only draw i have is that i thought i ordered a face plate with the system but i cant be sure if i just didnt click the correct box or not. Game has a lot of jumping around in one portion that almost turned me off on it, but got a lot better once i got thru that section.

This is my first XBOX 360, and I only bought it because it was a bundle for FFXIII. I love the faceplate, having 2 controllers is awesome and the game...AMAZING! I only wish it was on 1 disc, like the PS3, not 3. Also, I didn't realize how loud the system was when running. No biggie though, because the system is awesome.

As a first time owner of an XBOX 360, I couldn't be happier with this bundle. It has everything I need and more (lots of space, all the necessary accessories, a new FF game, and a faceplate with my preorder)! Deals like this should come around more often!
