Um yeah....I got this mouse free with my laptop, I've had it for about a month and a half, and it was really cool at first, but now, it's just kinda annoying. The one only BIG problem with it is that after a couple (2) hours of using it the touch wheel wont work and you have to turn it off, an then back on again...yeah it doesn't sound like a huge problem, but when your like maybe playing a game and your sitting there shooting at some guys and BAM, you run out of ammo, so you use the scroll wheel to get to your next gun or whatever...but then you cant and you die...yeah kinda sounds whiny I know, but when your in the situation it's really annoying, or even when your surfing the web and it stops working, I've had that happen too, or doing some graphic design, it doesn't really matter what your doing. I don't know, I would have expected if from like maybe a $10 mouse, but this one is like $50, I can't see ANYONE paying that for a mouse that expensive in general with so little features (it's quite basic), let alone one that doesn't work properly, but once again i got mine free, and I wouldn't have never paid for one on my own. (Oh and for the record, the rest of the mouse is fine, just the touch wheel sucks.) There are features I like about the touch wheel though (when it's working) when you do scroll the mouse vibrates, almost simulating when a wheel would click as you scroll on a traditional mouse. If you like run your finger over it fast it will like send the page flying (if you want to get to the bottom fast) kind of like when you swipe your finger fast on a list on a touch screen device, an it will gradually slow down after a couple seconds if it doesn't hit the bottom of the page first. I like the feature a lot, it's something a traditional mouse doesn't have, and when you do surf large pages on the web its really nice, but also if your a gamer, and you have functions set to the scroll wheel, it does tend to go through them REALLY fast if you scroll to fast (I had that problem with minecraft when I first got the mouse.) All in all, it's an okay mouse, I don't think it's worth the price, and I don't think anyone should pay that for it....that's just crazy, $50 is WAY to much, it's suppose to have 5 buttons (3 on the touch wheel, but I can only get one click to work (suppose to be like top, middle, bottom when you actually click down on it)) but I can only get 3 to work (left, right, and one scroll wheel function) I was kinda hoping it would to the side scroll like a mac mouse, but it doesn't. Yeah...don't PAY for it, unless it's like on a sale, because it's really not that awesome, yeah it has it's novelty at first like everything, but then you just use it like always and that novelty goes away and then it likes to stop working...still really frustrating when I'm gaming, but yeah, I just hope they lower the price, because it is WAY to expense for a pretty basic mouse. (When I say basic, I don't mean cheap, I mean not a lot of functions, just a very standard 3 button mouse.) But I guess my final review is that it's okay, not awesome, not total junk.

Thought I would try this because is was on sale and my logitech died. I like the blue track and think it works very well. This mouse seems to take a bit of getting used to, but it works well once you get a feel for it. I wonder if some of the people who dont like it have bothered to install the software from the website. I also wonder what operating system they have as it is made for windows 7. It makes a difference in the scrolling for me. I never used the wheel on other mice, but I like this touch scrolling after I got used to it. You can make the page fly up or down if you use a nice light flick of the finger. Still the scrolling features dont seem to do all the things they are supposed to. I have large hands and didnt think this low profile would work well for me but I find it to be very comfortable. Better than the stubby logitech I used to use. Got it on sale for half price, which is about what they are really worth anyway. The instructions are a joke. Like all things you buy now, not enough explanation but they will tell you in six different languages.

Pros: • Reasonable shape and weight • Power off switch great to save battery energy • Very small USB receiver Cons: • Erratic movement. Didn’t make a difference what surface I used or if other programs were running simultaneously. • My old garden variety red light mouse is far smoother and the roller wheel gives me a lot of control of vertical scrolling speed. • Tried to do lateral scrolling in MSWord document and it didn’t work. It did work in IE web page. • No software to control cursor acceleration • Sometimes totally unresponsive for several seconds then a big jump • Middle button did not scroll up or down a page in MSWord 2003 • Center of middle button allowed page scrolling up and down but would suddenly accelerate too fast to be useful in a longer document. • I used standard AA rechargeable batteries. I had to pry one out with a screwdriver to change the batteries. • Included documentation is useless for understanding functions of the mouse.

I actually use my laptop on my lap in my recliner with the recliner arm as my mouse pad. This is the first mouse I've had that won't work on the armchair fabric, so I have to drape a mouse pad over the arm - very inconvenient. The scroll bar is awkward and doesn't work well. I prefer the rolling scroll instead of this flat bar. The mouse is so slippery on the bottom, that it doesn't like to stay put on the arm chair and I'm often retrieving it off of the floor. I didn't have to buy it - it came free with my computer, but it retails for $50 and I don't think it is worth more than $10 - if that. Actually, if I had paid $10, I would have returned it. It does have a sleek design and feels comfortable in my hand.

Got this mouse on sale for $25 because I had just got a new laptop with windows 8. It is very easy, plug and play operation as with any mouse nowadays. The bluetrack tech is nice. You really can use it one any surface. Buttons are crisp. The touch scroll pad is pretty good most of the time but sometimes it does seem like it has a mind of its own when trying to scroll vertically, but i attribute that to the fact that it has three buttons integrated with the touchpad and it is very pressure sensitive. If you press too hard when trying to scroll up, you might find yourself at the top of the screen and vice versa. Horizontal scrolling is nice for the new windows 8 UI. Overall, a pretty good mouse, especially for Windows 8.

This is a cool little mouse. The software loads really slow but is customizable. The software conflicts with the Synaptics laptop touchpad drivers in Windows 8 but works fine with the Synaptics drivers in Windows 7. Speaking of Windows 8, this mouse does not do a lot for Windows 8, but can handle side scrolling of the Start Screen whether scrolling vertically or horizontally with the touch strip on the mouse. No other Win 8 gestures can be used with this mouse (opening the charms menu, swiping through apps,etc.. The mouse feels very comfortable, not like those little tiny laptop mice you see. Get it, you'll like it.

I needed a new mouse as my old one was starting to fail despite new battery installations. This mouse works great except the scroll is a slide and isn't that responsive unless I put moisture on my fingers so they will stick enough to make it scroll. My other complaint is that the clicks are loud, or at least louder than my last microsoft mouse. The design feels good in my smaller palm and the wireless works great.

This item was offered as a free promotional item when I ordered my laptop. I decided to give it a try. It took a couple hours to get used to the touch pad in place of the wheel. Once I figured out it only takes a light touch on the touch pad to do the same thing as a wheel, it works great. It's comfortable to use, glides smoothly over the work surface, and it's reliable. Two AA batteries have kept this mouse going for over a month so far, I never turn it off, and I use my computer over 5 hours a day.

First the great. Ever sence I first got internet, I have wanted to be able to easily program a button or key that would return my E-Mail address when pushed. I got it with this mouse!!! The "wheel' is unstable when in the inbox of Windows Live Mail. It will just take off sometimes one E-Mail sometomes 10-20 E-mails. The nano transmitter has such a short range, that I had to get an USB extention cable so that I could put the nano 2 inches from the mouse.

I just bought this mouse near an hour ago. I get home plug it in, and what happens? When i move the mouse the cursor on the screen lags. When i tried opening up and application it wouldnt click or the cursor would jump from one part of the screen to somewhere i didnt want it to go in the first place. This mouse is horrible. I bought a $15 wire mouse at bestbuy and that lasted me a year this mouse didnt even last 20min of use. The price was a good thing till I got home.

I really like the design and compatibility with my Win 7 PC, but using this mouse is aggravating. The screen pointer shifts around at random and the mouse actually crashed a few days ago. Changed batteries without seeing an improvement. The reason I thought to write a review was that I came to Bestbuy.com to find replacement. The best thing about buying this mouse was the price match Bestbuy did against Staples; bought this mouse for $25

Performance is poor with this mouse. Not so easy to use. I have been using this mouse for more than two months. My daily usage is average and the buttons already started to stuck. Thinking of using my old logitech which is far better than this. Pros: Nice concept and design Cons: Buttons Stuck, virtual wheel scroll way farther than required. Scrolling and clicking quality is below average.

    imitation of Apple mouse

For the same price I could of bought a nice reliable Logitech mouse, but the look of "Apple" like mouse and good ergonomics streaked me into buying this mouse. After getting home and trying it out I quickly realized it lacks accuracy and sensitivity when trying to scroll pages. I wish they would offer a buyer an option of trying it out in the store on PC instead of "dummy" display model.

I bought this because I needed a smaller mouse. Unfortunately, I use Excel heavily everyday, and for the one line at a time scroll that I need to do, the scroll 'wheel' just doesn't work well. Other functions of the mouse are fine (save for there's no back or forward buttons for browser nav). The scroll wheel and lack of precision in using just makes is not worth it for me.

This Mouse will do everything that a wheel mouse will do. I was not too sure about the touch pad at first but found it to be quite awesome. A quick swipe of your finger will send you to the top or bottom of a page quickly without the need to keep rolling like a wheel mouse. I'm totally pleased and have not had any ill issues what so ever.

This mouse is a freebee that came with my new Samsung laptop. I had been using another wireless mouse (Targus) and have tossed that to one side -- this mouse is quick, no hassle with bluetooth connections, very exact and responsive... Great gift from Best Buy and great little work tool.

I found this mouse on BB's "Open Box" table. I think I paid 14.00 dollars for it. Don't remember for sure. I like the slim design. and it does work as it should. I replaced an older Microsoft mouse with this one and really like the tiny USB tranceiver. I would recommend this product.

I have been using this mouse for a few weeks now on my Win7 Pc and Have hardly had any issues. Is easy to install and use,you can customize the buttons which is a+ for me. Sometimes it lags a bit but you lift it off the surface and is back to work.

Sometimes worked and sometimes not, light underneath would blink off and on. Changed batteries and did the same thing. Mouse would vibrate, and sometimes curser would jump all over the page, or not move at all. Very disappointed.

The touch scroll feature is impossible to master, that said the balance of the features are good. Not worth the high price. Back to the drawing board Microsoft. You can't give these away... Oh Ya, you did!
