Make sure you have a working Microsoft account before purchasing/beginning would be my biggest recommendation. From there, I simply purchased, then followed the links within my Amazon account to install the download. Yes, initially, the software does not install on your computer. Instead, it downloads an installer. You must click the download to initiate the installation on your computer. Did that, agreed to all the T&C, opened up Excel, and yes, it gave me the message that I needed to buy Microsoft 365 before I could create or edit anything. I clicked on it, per advice from another reviewer, and it takes you to your Microsoft account sign-in, where there is an option that says "already purchased" - click that. Once you enter your email, you're up and running! Apple "Numbers" was KILLING me after being an Excel user my whole life. I couldn't stand it any longer (made the switch from PC to Mac about a year ago) and I know I will be way less frustrated since I know Excel like the back of my hand. Recommend!

Love it! I bought one for my home office and my work office. I hated the Microsoft 365 subscription. I spend more time trying to get into it online and access what I need. Every time you try to open a document or email, you have to jump through all these loops in order to read it or work on it. Thanks to this downloadable product, no more worries. Work is easier and faster. Way better than spending money on a yearly subscription that doesn't work well.

We wanted all of the services of Microsoft's products without subscribing for renewal fees. This was the solution, but their products and own them. We are so happy that Microsoft made this an option. We use Outlook, Word and Excell almost daily. We know we made the right choice with this product. Additionally, the we were able to install it on both our laptop and PC for the same price.

I upgraded my 2011 G560 laptop running Office XP to a 2023 G14 and required a current Office Suite. Primarily needed a word processor and spreadsheet for daily use, with the occasional PowerPoint option. First tried the freeware LibeOffice suite, although it was adequate for reading my existing MS .doc's and smaller MS .xls spreadsheets, it could not handle my larger spreadsheets with multiple worksheets that have complex formulas and extensive formatting. It would fail with "not responding" errors when trying to save those spreadsheets. That left me with two options, the subscription-based MS Office 365, or this one-time purchase MS Office 2021 Home & Student. Not a fan of subscription models with annual fees, so Office 2021 was my only choice. After purchasing online, I received a MS Digital Download email with a web link and code to install on my new laptop. Installation was quick and setup was very easy. Reads, updates, and saves all of my existing MS Office files without issues. Still getting acclimated with the current program version layouts and their updated features. My only negative is the price, but for my use, it is still a more cost-effective solution vs. paying an annual subscription fee.

The Microsoft Office Home 2024 with ONLY Word, PowerPoint and Excel is just what I want. I prefer it over the Office Suite that has too many apps which I don't need or use. I find it to be a little different on the iMac than on the PC. It will take some time to get used of.

So nice to move on to this newer version - it had been years. Takes a little getting used to but working with all my files.

We are completely satisfied with Microsoft - Office Home 2024 for Windows. We are retired and cannot afford to update every year, but this product continues to provide good service for all our needs.

This fits my needs - standalone software installation with no internet cloud security issues to deal with. Only time I allow it to connect to the internet is for the updates, after that - it's locked down. I intensely dispise the constant dunning of subscription fees that are way more expensive than it needs to be. If Microsoft Extortion ever does away with the standalone option of this software product, I'm done - this will go away faster than a microsecond.

Perfect fit for my work and school needs! I personally prefer Microsoft office products over Google Docs/Sheets. Quick delivery and easy to install.

Great! The instructions were so easy to follow to get microsoft downloaded on my new device. We are a huge fan of the microsoft products, they are very user friendly!

The software performs well, for personal computing needs. Setup was seamless. However, the price is higher compared to similar options. Ideal for users who value performance and time savings over cost. Efficiency is achieved, but budget-conscious buyers may find cheaper options eg. an all inclusive package rather than stand alone purchase.

Though I'm retired, I still use my computer on a daily basis. Microsoft Windows Office provides the necessary communication and worksheet options needed for the limited amount of surface mail I still do, record keeping and email. I especially appreciate the new Windows features and options.

This product, Microsoft Office Home 2024, is definitely worth the money. It updates my outdated version that I was using. Very easy to understand the enhancements and new features.

Problem free download, works perfectly. The download time was lengthy because of the enormous size of the software, but that was expected. I went with the lifetime license, no subscription. Glad i did.

I purchased my laptop at the Framingham store and I was very pleased with discounted price that they were offering at that time. The Geek Squad was kind enough to install Microsoft Office onto my laptop for free which includes the cleanup and/or removal of all unnecessary programs that would slow down the performance of the laptop. They completed this process in just 9ne day and I was able to get my laptop the following day. I brought the laptop home and it’s working perfectly which is light years faster than my very old laptop.
