Controller works great, and looks great. Back of the handles have extra slightly imposed grip on them. Almost a bead like feeling that is really comfortable and gives a little room for your hands to breath and stay from getting sweaty. Only problem I have had with the controller is the X button is slightly sticky. But a simple google search showed how to open the controller and clean the gunk out. There are also many other even simpler methods I found to fixing that proboem, although I do not believe that should be a problem. I have owned multiple controllers and this is the first time it has happened. I am sure it is an isolated incident. As long as it is taken care of and handled properly I am sure this controller will hold up. Overall I am very pleased with the controller. Favorite one I have own for tge Xbox One so far

The special edition controllers look fun but they are garbage. I made the mistake of purchasing numerous special edition controllers over the years for 4 kids ranging from 7 to 18. They always malfunction within 3 months & the store doesn't do anything about it. They say "kids are hard on them". I bought into that too many times. After having 8 or more of these die within short term, including the husbands special edition controller, I'm done. Huge waste of money. The original plain ones never gave us the same problem. They last year's. It's not the user, it's the product. Stick with the plain ones.

I had the pub-G controller but it was to dark for me as I am new to x box (I have always had Play Stations ) So when looking for the 2 squares or the 3 lines in black it was hard , I do have another plain white controller , but I just liked the feel of this . It does have rubber grips on the back of the hand grips which makes it nice for long gaming sessions . Also it was 10$ off so I figured I try it and so far so good . I did add the X box battery and led charging cable as it shows amber when charging and white when complete . Perfect combo . it is all I need I could in no way justify paying 150$ for the white elite controller . This works for me

I got this because I wanted to be able to play a 2 player game with my daughter, but after using it for a bit I quickly made this one my main controller and now rarely use the one that came with my Xbox One, mainly because this one just feels good when holding it. The grips you hold it by are rough on the bottom so it won't slip out of your hands easily, and it's weighted perfectly, noticeably better than the stock controller. The ONLY issue I've found with it is the A/B/X/Y buttons are all blue instead of the standard colors so it's a little harder to follow along with in-game prompts. They do have little dot icons indicating the color order in the middle of this button grid though, and it doesn't take long to just memorize where each button is located, so the lack of on-button colors is really a minor issue.

This marks the SEVENTH Xbox One controller I have had to return due to the left analog stick breaking internally. The last two I had only lasted a week before breaking. Looking online, there are complaints going back 3 and 4 years about these controllers breaking, but Microsoft has not done ANYTHING to fix this issue. I have Xbox 360 controllers that I bought 10 years ago and still work fine. These XboxOne controllers are just terrible. I finally had to bite the bullet and go with the Elite controller ($150 versus $50). Crossing my fingers they used different internal parts on the Elite, although I'm not holding my breath.

This controller works like a charm and even is the updated kind where you do not need one of those wacky xbox adapters if you want to plug in normal IPHONE headphones. I haven't had problems with any of the buttons sticking or triggers being worn out and I play with this controller only and play at least 40 hours a week with it. The only downside is that between the A & B button on the controller two little cracks came between them like i had dropped it or something. It hasn't affected how the controller works at all but it just makes me think it was kinda cheaply made if it was my own thumb that did the damage. Its very possible it was from the non stop button smashing Elder scrolls online so who knows. If I were to buy another controller I would most likely just get another one of these just different color scheme.

Wanted a controller to play Steam games on my laptop (a Windows machine) and was told that XBox controllers didn't need a separate patch. Does pretty much what it's supposed to, except getting my computer to recognize it the first time was a little trickier than I thought it would be. I knocked off a star for the following (admittedly minor) reasons: -It took a couple of attempts to get it to connect; initially it only connected via Bluetooth -It doesn't come with a charging or connection cord so you need to either makes sure your batteries are good or get a charging cord. Luckily, it's just a standard USB cord and you steal the one from your phone if you need to. That said, it's still a solid product. Wish the teal one was in stock and/or it came in more colors.

I had to replace mine but the replacement has been fine. The first one, after about a month of use, started dropping it's connection after only 30 seconds of play no matter what. i noticed with that one than when paired with my PC through Bluetooth it showed a serial number next to the device name (Xbox Wireless Controller). None of my other new Xbox One S controllers, or the replacement, show a serial number in the device name. I think this was a sign that the first one had something wrong. Other than that I love this controller, because it uses Bluetooth I can use it with my Xbox One, Android phone and tablet, Android TV, and all my PCs. It won't work with Apple but blame that on Apple not using a standard Bluetooth connection for controllers. It also will connect but won't work with a PlayStation 3/4 system.

We were so happy to get this controller. It was cool looking, worked great & even better than all the rest of the controllers we had. Bought it in October & wrapped it for Christmas for my son. So, mind you regardless when I purchased it, it had not been used in October and not until christmas day. So fast forward to January, controller is acting up, you can hear a piece rattling around in it. We take it back to best buy to return it. "you purchased it in October" they say. I gave it as a christmas present & we started using it at the end of December, so it has been less than a month. Well call Microsoft then. Wow, as much money as I spend at this store, this is the response for a defective controller that has been used for less than a month.

This is my first time spending a lot of money on a controller. I got this to play games using my Amazon Fire Stick and also play games on Steam. I must say that this is the best gaming purchase I have bought. Everything is comfortable in my hand and so solid. Colors are awesome and are a great tribute to military branches. Had no problems pairing it on the April 2018 build of Windows 10 either. Just works! Not completely sure about battery life but I am sure to purchase it down the road. Now if they can get a US Navy license and have special military controllers with the Navy logo, that would be cool. Because after all, sailors are already using XBOX Controllers for submarine tech according to online articles.

I bought this controller and within the first week I was already having problems with it. The left thumb stick wouldn’t work properly and the left trigger would get stuck and I would have to pull it out. Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controllers are so bad. Every controller that I get messes up within a month. My friends and family also have these or similar problems with Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controllers. I remember when I had an Xbox 360. Now those controllers work way better than these. They would last my for at least 1 year. If you buy one of these controllers make sure you buy the warranty with it so that you can return it for a new one.

For all the people out there that like to keep it basic. If you like your eggs with no salt and pepper. If you like your pizza with only cheese. If you like your soda with no fizz. Or if you like to be the spoonee and not the spooner. Then this controller is for you. It will not change your life, nor will it get you that girl at the register you've been staring at awkwardly for 6 months now at the local Comicbook store. What it will get you is hours of fun alone with your bucket of Cheetos and fav energy drink as you own other guys like you on the latest game that just came out. Enjoy!!

      Hey there,

Thanks for weighing in on your new Xbox wireless controller! Spending hours owning other players online with this controller sounds like a pretty fun time to us, too. Gaming doesn't have to be solitary, though - grab a second controller and you may never have to game alone again.

This controller is instantly recognized by Windows PCs when plugged in with a micro USB cable, no need for any extra drivers. New to this particular model is bluetooth support, so now it can be used wirelessly on PCs without Microsoft's adapter. Besides bluetooth there are additional features added to this controller, the back of the handles are textured to provide a better grip, the bumper buttons feel improved over the former model, and to me the triggers feel more fluent in their movement. If you liked using a 360 pad on PC then you'll love this controller, everything wrong with the 360 controller has been fixed here, especially the d-pad. I have one minor complaint: the actual shade of blue of the controller is darker than it looks in the pictures.

It's an xbox controller. I bought it for how much ever I bought it for to use with my computer. I thought I would be able to use it for more than what I've been able to use it, but it doesn't work well with my surface book 2. I think the price should be lower, especially since they don't come with any USB. And though, I do like the controller (mostly its looks) I wouldn't likely recommend it to anyone else. This is mostly because not many I know would even have a purpose for it with no xbox or computer. Maybe its time to persuade Microsoft to change to a more universal remote or drop the price on there xbox one remotes altogether.

I purchased the Blue controller to replace another, the color and texture are great, but ….. there is a connection issue with the main unit. With our setup, 4 controller on a 75" tv works out to be about 32" per player in UHD. Normally , all controllers would be about 12 to 15 feet from the tv, but this controller keeps disconnecting , forcing the user to get uncomfortably close to such a large viewing platform in order to maintain a connection. It was a Christmas present, and because I purchased early, I will not be able to return it for a working equivalent due to the 2+ hour drive to my nearest store.

      Hi Steve,

We're sorry to hear that you're having connection issues with your new Xbox wireless controller. Random disconnects may occur for multiple reasons, including low battery and competing wireless devices. We recommend troubleshooting the issue through Xbox Support at the following link. Every controller comes with a 90-day limited manufacturer's warranty, so they can also assist with a possible repair or exchange. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/controllers/wireless-controller-solution

Hello, I didn't buy this controller for me but for my brother. I have used it though. One thing that I can say for sure is that the controller is very comfortable to hold and all buttons feel great. Overall the controller looks very interesting just like most xbox one controllers. My intentions on getting the controller for my bro was the atheistic of it It reminded me of an original Xbox 360 by its color scheme. When my brother saw it however, he described it as the "Genji controller". I was ok with that lol. He doesn't play Genji in Overwatch but he still loves the controller. Feel free to get this controller regardless if the person (yourself included) is not a Genji main. Its still a good purchase.

the color on this controller is amazing, it is so much better than the solid color versions that Microsoft has put out in the past. The best part is that the material they used on this controller feels almost like a silk on the front but has the texturing on the back of the handles so it doesn't slide around. Also I have noticed that a longer range when I have it connected to a headset than the older controllers did. As I haven't taken it apart and since Microsoft doesn't say anywhere on the packaging I'm just going to guess that they moved the location of the wireless unit in the controller or upped the power of it. I would definitely recommend this controller if you are thinking about purchasing.

The controller itself plays very well, and feels natural and smooth, with a cute color to boot. I just have two minor complaints. The back cover that goes over the batteries is flimsy and has to be handed with care. So I hope that doesn't become a problem in the distant future after having opened it so many times. My other complaint unfortunately has some bad synergy with the first complaint. That being that as far as I've been able to tell, the only way to shut off your BlueTooth Controller is to remove the battery, because even shutting off the PC doesn't turn the controller off... So having to open that back and remove the battery just to turn off your controller gets tedious. All in all a good purchase though, feels great!

I really love this Xbox One controller and now it is even better. It works great on Windows 10 as long as you have Bluetooth. No need for a dongle now. This one is Bluetooth and has some texture on the bottom where you grip it. At first, I had reconnection issues and here is how to fix the problems. On Windows 10 go to the store and download the Xbox Accessories app. Plug in the controller with a cable and turn on the controller. Now open the app and do the update. Now it should re-connect after turning it off or rebooting the computer. If you had a connection prior, you will need to forget it and re-connect. I hope this has helped because I had to do a lot of research to find this solution.
