It’s a charger what else do you want to know. Works ok I guess

It protects me from losing all the data id the computer crashes again.

This charger works, but it is very expensive for very little. A generic power charger costs much less, does the same thing, but because of the special Surface plug interface, I had to pay over a barrel for this thing. It only has one USB port, and the cord is short, requires an extension cord usually.

Piece of junk...and yes, it is from china, but i blame Microsoft for not acting as a good project manager for the equipment manufactured with their stamp of approval. Junk, junk, junk! Computer is almost 2 years old and I'm getting ready to get a 4th adapter (3rd replacement charger). Oh wow, this last one lasted a whole year! Incredible! Because of the above I would also not suggest getting a Microsoft Laptop 2 because of the proprietary connector for charging. Need I say more?

this is the second power adapter I have had to purchase for my Surface. It is not a complicated technology. The wires should not frey, but they do.

Didn’t charge at all. Waste of money. Would recommend the one for $35 it works great compared to the $80 one!!

This is the 3rd power adapter in less than a year that I've had to get for my MS Surface Book 2. These things stop working after 2 to 4 months. The laptop itself is great but wht's the point if you can't get any power to it? And these adapters are expensive! Very disappointed.

My original charger stopped working after 10 months. I bought this one as the highest quality open box. It lasted me 2 or 3 weeks before it stopped working. I was not able to return or exchange it because it was after 15 days. So I wasted $70 on a charger that did not even last a month. Save yourself a lot of trouble and just get a different laptop.

It didn't work for my surface pro so it was returned.

Overtime you will pay more for this than the laptop

The charger stopped working after six months. I contacted Bestbuy and was told after 45 days there are no return or exchanges. The purpose of purchasing the genuine charger was to avoid having to replace it so soon. Very frustrating!

Bought it for my Surface Pro 4. The Power Supply failed. The darn thing failed after a year. I purchased a new Surface Pro 7 in August 20, 2020. In December 2020, the power supply began to fail. It's early February and it has stopped working.

I love my Surface Pro, but this power adapter unit is awful. I have gone through four of them. This one only lasted a couple months. The longest was about a year. I don't know why they can't figure out and improve it. But, what alternative does anyone have?

This charger would keep on breaking every single time on you , and it’s not cheap . I had to exchange laptop because it really does sucks and Microsoft knows it but doesn’t want to do nothing of it either

But it seems like I am go through these charging cords like every month. Can’t Microsoft come up with a more durable cord and almost 80 a pop you got to be kidding me.

Microsoft got it wrong...bad design that breaks easily. I am on my second cord already and one came in damaged that I had to go back to the store to replace...so actually I’m on my third.

The power adapter failed after 3 months of use and now it’s outside the return period. I’ve seen similar reviews and thought maybe it was one off event for them, now I know better.

sometimes the corner will kink depending on the outlet. This will short out within a year or so. Very unhappy that the surface doesn't have a standard power cord.

This device stopped working after only a few months. I will never buy another Microsoft surface or accessories. They do NOT work!

This product failed again. This will be the third one purchased for computer in approx. 2 years
