I bought this a year ago and tonight it stopped working. This is the 3rd charger I've had for this thing.

They last like 3 -5 months and you have to buy a new one. You have to buy them if you have a Surface so.....

My original and second cord both shorted due to poor design.

Wouldn't buy another that's for sure.works when ever it wants think it might be the brand.

Why do I have to replace your power supply after less than one year. Bad! Baaaaaaad Microsoft!

Quality poor, this is the 3rd purchase of adapter, not durable

Power adapter for Windows Surface Pro 4 is fine. No problems.

This was my 5th power adapter for a Surface Pro 4 that I purchased in 2016. In 3 short years I have gone thru 5 of these power adapters. All of these adapters short out very easily. I thought this time around I would fork out the extra dough for the Microsoft name & quality for a replacement power adapter. I even babied this one but it didn't matter, it shorted it 3.5 months after I bought it. Microsoft has acknowledged an issue with the Pro 2 & 3 power adapters but not (yet?) Pro 4 - why not? I spent 2K on a Surface Pro 4 that is too challenging to charge. I regret ever buying the Surface Pro & won't make that mistake again. Way to go Microsoft.

Love the magnetic jack, but cannot believe Microsoft would ship a power supply with this poor reliability. Brick itself (not cord) died 3 months after 1 year warranty ran out. Support only offered to let me buy full-price replacement. I have a Dell power supply still running after 10 years. I have recommended against Surface products at my workplace due to this poor service (was a beta tester)

The surface pro is great but the charger/power adaptor is terrible! Had the surface pro 4 and the adaptor stopped charging properly after 3 months. had to purchase 2 more in a 1 year time frame until I gave up and bought a knock off on amazon that worked great! I bought the surface pro 6 itself and it is no much greater than the 4 except that it comes in black. again; the issue I have is the power adaptor/charger. I only had the new pro 6 and its accompanied charger for about 4 months and bought my brother one too and we both have the same issues with the charger. terribe design on microsoft's end. again, the tablet/surface pro itself is great; its charger sucks balls. Microsoft needs to update the designs of the charger because it is not cheap to get a new one every 3-12 months.
