I got this as a back up for my new Surface 4 because I was out of town when my original one for my Surface Pro 3 stopped working. \ I don't want to be without again so got this to have, in case. It is just like the one that came with the Surface 4 and works the same.

my old charger was acting up for months and finally the cord broke at the charger box. I bought an open box in excellent condition and so saved some money. I also used some credit so got a good deal. don't have to wait anymore nor fiddle with the wire and plug.

I required a replacement power cord for my Surface Pro. Very few stores carry this item and I was able to find it at Best Buy. The replacement is exactly what was required and allowed me to continue using my computer as needed. I would buy this again if needed.

It is simple and it works. I purchased it for my daughter at College who forgot her changer in another state. We'll see if she remembers her papers... Note: LOVE the USB charge port on the brick. ALL manufactures should have this.

This was the second replacement adapter I purchased for my Surface Pro 3. I don't know if the issue was the adapter, charging port on the machine, or the battery inside the machine. The battery health check was always normal, but the adapters seem to stop working or work intermittently the older my machine got. No matter how new the adapter was. I wouldn't recommend this unless you have no other choice in order to charge up your machine. I was/am a student while this was happening and I've upgraded my computer since.

You wouldn't expect the Surface Pro charging cords to fail so soon, but... Really glad that Best Buy stocks them. it does exactly what it is supposed to, but how can you get excited about a charger and give it all 5 stars?

I had to purchase this for my surface pro since the first one sudddenly started losing connectabilty at the end that joins the computer. Im, equally scared this would happen to this new one.

With the Surface Pro, Microsoft borrowed a page from Apple. The power cord attaches in a slot and is held in place by a magnet. No more ripping the power cord or pulling the computer to the floor: it will pop out easily with no damage. Great design.

If you need a spare or replacement power supply for a Microsoft Surface that uses this type of connector, going with the Microsoft branded one is the best bet. I've always been leery of 3rd party power supplies from a fire/overcharging risk.

This is my second travel charger, there really isn't any other alternative, the connections at the adapter will eventually plug out with a lot of use. This time I wrapped the connections with heat shrink for longevity

Lost my charger for my Surface Pro. This does the job well but is not cheap (as none of them are). Unfortunately, it is necessary.

This power adapter is exactly what I needed. It arrived very quickly and I was able to pick it up in the store. Very convenient. Thank you BEST BUY for being the VERY BEST!!! You are my go-to place for everything electronic!!!

No chargy wire, no power. No power, no computer. No computer, no computing stuff. No computing stuff, no....no.....I don’t know! I ran out of ideas!!! You buy chargy thingy and it charges thingy! Great buy, good price.

I bought this on the road as I had forgotten to pack mine. Normally I have low expectations for phone and laptop accessories but this worked as well as my original one because it is the exact same. It wasn't outrageously priced either.

This totally solved my charger problem for my Microsoft Surface. The cord is of a very flexible material, which is nice when being used in the a vehicle and lies flat.

I found this adapter at Best Buy and it works great as my "travel" charger. It is not as bulky as the others and charges perfectly. Glad they keep these in stock.

The charger on my less-than-one-year old surface pro just randomly stopped working. This is the OEM replacement that I purchased while I waited for Microsoft to send me a new charger under warranty. It works just fine.

I like the magnetic part of the charger. I just wish that Microsoft made the outlet side of the charger a little more flexible. Other than that the charger has good length.

This is the original charger that came with my surface pro. I had to purchase a replacement charger a little after a year and I’ve had this one for a year and so far no issues! No issues.

This charged the Surface better than the docking station charger. The only weird thing is the adapter which is prone to damage and dust but that's the Microsoft design.
