This mouse has great feel and smooth gliding. The one thing I didn't really care for was the Windows button on the side. I'm used to clicking something to go back a page, now with the all the gestures that are available, it makes it a little more complex to figure out what gesture does what. Could do without this feature/change.

If you need a mouse for your surface pro 3, then this is the one my friend. The Bluetooth technology works very clear and fast. The surface pro 3 or any model of windows with Bluetooth will definitely recognize the mouse in a instant. It works on any surface and I have not yet encounter any problems with it. Yes, it runs on batteries and it doesn't annoy me. I will always make sure to turn it off when I'm not using it.

I am creating a work space for a new career basically. I wanted a mouse for my laptop, but I didn’t want or need anything too fancy. This one has done very well since I started using it! Works over a surface, smooth response, and very easy to pair and use right away when the computer wakes up. Beautifully, I don’t need to take up a usb slot in my laptop with a receiver as this pairs directly with the laptop via Bluetooth! Haven’t used it long enough to see how fast it uses up batteries, but so far it hasn’t drained the first set yet so it seems to balance energy needs well so far.

The good Navigating Windows is a breeze with the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Bluetooth mouse. The wireless connection frees up your USB ports for other devices, its contoured shape gently cradles your hand, and the shortcut buttons will (probably) increase your day-to-day productivity. The bad The mouse is designed for right-handed users only, and the glossy plastic finish is a sticky situation in warm weather. Not all features work on Macs and Chromebooks.

This is my go-to mouse for work travel. It's light and compact without sacrificing too much in size. Battery seems to last a while too.

This is a true Bluetooth mouse - no usb dongle needed, which frees up a much needed usb port. It worked immediately with two different laptops, running both Windows 8.1 and fedora 20. It's a bit on the large size, but is very comfortable. And it tracks on almost any surface.

I wanted a Bluetooth mouse for my new laptop and picked up this Microsoft Sculpt Mouse. I'm not doing anything fancy, so I didn't install any extra software, and I don't connect to more than 1 PC, but I did turn off the Bluetooth going to sleep in Windows 8.1. So far it's been great. I have no problems or issues and no sleeping problems. For under $20 the mouse is perfect for my needs. I'm very satisfied.

Two important factors to consider in the purchase of any mouse these days. The modern laptop, uses USB 3.0 ports and there are fewer USB ports on laptops these days, and USB 3.0 is too necessary for a mouse anymore. This mouse uses blutooth and the blue MS side button is swipe sensitive; great for Windows 8.x. 2 batteries, no more USB dongle transmitter, great functions and build..highly recommended!

    Nice mouse, but...

It's a nice looking mouse and it might be right for some people, but I'm used to the Logitech MX510. The MX510 is a bigger mouse and it just seems to fit the shape of my hand much better than the Microsoft mouse. The Microsoft mouse doesn't "fill" my hand the way the Logitech one does. I bought the Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse because I needed a Bluetooth mouse so that I could free up a USB port on my laptop (the Logitech mouse requires a USB port for the unifying transceiver). I think that for people with smaller hands, the Microsoft mouse might be a good choice, but for me it really wasn't. On the technical side, it connected almost immediately to my computer and worked flawlessly. The blue windows key on the right side worked just as advertised. If the mouse was just a little bigger, it would be a "keeper" for me. ---Tom---

A lot of people may avoid Microsoft hardware due to its price per efficiency. However I say this mouse is amazing for it's price. I'll simply list the pros and cons Pros: - Wireless Bluetooth (No USB needed) - Able to click windows button on mouse and also swipe the windows button for "forward" and "backward" - Able to adjust the settings for what the button do Cons -None so far

I like this mouse. It's very comfortable and is easily recognizable by Bluetooth. The battery lasts and it has a sleep mode that keeps it going longer. Function buttons make it so much easier to use. Great buy, it was a best buy!

This mouse is a comfortable addition to my work bag, allowing me to cut another cord and simplify setting up my work space. The Windows touch button took getting used to, and feels more gimmick than value. It's nice being able to swipe to go forward and backward on web pages, but that's hardly a game changing feature, not is having a start button on the mouse itself. Still, it works and it's there, so neat I guess.

I have several of these mice that I use on my windows laptops and a macbook. When my wife and i recently got iMACs, she did not like the mouse that came with it. I gave her one of my bluetooth mice and she loved it. So I had to get another one.

I purchased a new Windows 8.1 laptop to replace a laptop that fizzled and wanted a true bluetooth mouse without a dongle. After reading reviews of the mice available, I chose this one because it met the above requirement and is built specifically to work with Windows 8.1. It is lightweight, connects/awakes quickly and also travels well.

This mouse has great precision and does not require a USB key to use as it runs on bluetooth so you do need to ensure you have a bluethooth enabled desktop or laptop. Also, the blue Windows key is a nice feature as it allows you to scroll from the Start screen to desktop as well as scrolling through other open Apps or internet pages.

Purchased mouse to use with a Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro 3-in-1. The Bluetooth synced immediately between the laptop and mouse. It has never lost the connection and provides excellent response between mouse movement and on-screen cursor. All buttons and scroll wheel operate as advertised. All in all an excellent mouse.
