This Is A Helpful Upgrade To Work From Home

I had the wired version for years. When it broke down, i replaced it with a Logitech Ergonomic keyboard and mouse, but it was never the same. I , like everyone else, have been working from home. I have a desk area, but it is quite small. I dabbled in the arena of a mechanical keyboard. The sound is wonderful, but I find that I get tired and had some wrist pain. This Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard is compact. Having the number pad as a separate unit allows for making the most of the desk area I have. I fins myself using it as a handheld calculator. It is going to take a day or two to get back into the swing of ergonomic typing, but I feel muscle memory coming back. I LOVE this mouse. It fits my hand perfectly. It is very sensitive and that will take some getting used to. I will keep my eye our for a sale on these. I will want one for the distant day we go back into an office.

I bought this for my husband when he started working from home recently. I talked him into a wireless keyboard and he loves it. He ended up buying another to take into work. The mouse took some getting used to with how big it is.

Was concerned cuz I was upgrading the microsoft ergonomic 7000, which is way better than the 4000 that they still sell. The 4000 has clickers keys are harder to press. Some have complained after switching the the sculpt mouse but I find it nice to use. The number pad can also be positioned a bit further away from the user, allowing the mouse to sit closer to the keyboard. After getting used to my MacBook pro I actually love the chicklet easy press keys on the sculpt.

Purchased this combo for work computer. Have been using it for months & love it. Helped reduce strain on my wrists. There was slight learning curve to adjust to hand placement but within first week I had it. Would buy again in the future.

My size and breadth, plus my typing skill level - requires a good keyboard to take advantage of all that good "ergonomic" stuff. I've used a lot of keyboards and most have too deep a keystroke - or too shallow - incompatible key spacing - and they're just not made to stand up to a lot of typing - like you'd do in a transcription kind of work setting. This keyboard takes care of all that. For me, anyway. It's the right size, shape, keystroke, footprint and so I think I've chosen well.

This is a great ergonomic keyboard. I like have the flexibility of moving the number pad to where I need it or out of the way when I don't. I have one for work and at home for my personal use.

I tried this keyboard due to the fact that the keypad was separate. However, I found the keyboard awkward to use. Due to the split design, your fingers do not automatically sit on the same keys as with a normal keyboard. I did not care to go through a relearning process to ensure I hit the correct keys, so I returned the product.

I have carpal tunnle and so typing all day on a regular keyboard is rough. This keyboard is awesome for that. I can pretty much go all day without the pain and tightness in my wrists and hands. The detached numeric keypad is a bit strange, but I'm getting used to it and like that I can move it around to where I'll actually use it by itself. The shape and feel of the mouse is also a bit odd, but oddly comfortable as well. All-in-all, this is a great product. Con: There is some type of weird lag that's occurring when I begin to type, most of the time. Meaning that the first key-stroke is not picked up. It's like it goes into some type of a "rest-mode", likely to conserve battery life, or something. I updated the drivers and software, but nothing really seemed to change. Balancing this annoyance with the other benefits: I'll still be keeping this keyboard.

This is the awesome keyboard i used to have - wired; but now much better, lighter and wireless. The mouse is weird like holding a baseball ball but very comfortable. Bought another one for my friend as a gift which also used the wired version.

This is my second Microsoft sculpt keyboard. The first lasted three years, which is pretty much how long the warranty is. It would be great if it lasted longer, however, within one day of not using the keyboard, I had wrist pain. I would definitely recommend if you are experiencing any kind of wrist or elbow pain.

This keyboard was great. I just really started using it and it’s not working now. I had it a while I wasn’t working with it until I started working with it this year. I changed my batteries in it twice just in case. No, that wasn’t it. I do not recommend this keyboard.

I am not a fan of the ergonomic keyboard in any way, however, the Microsoft Sculpt has changed my mind completely. This keyboard is a real game changer. I love all of the functionality that it offers, including the function set switch. The mouse is also great because it has navigation buttons built into the finger rests. I also love the fact that there is a mobile number pad that you can position wherever you want. Great buy. I have already recommended it to all of my coworkers.

The 2 months that I have had this keyboard mouse combo, I have not been disappointed. The only issue I have is the position of the right shift key feels a little further than a traditional keyboard. The split space bar, detached numeric keypad, and mouse are all fantastic. We will be buying for more staff!

I need my keyboard on a lap board for best ergonomics at my home office. This keyboard works great for such a small space (so a mouse can fit too). (P.S. Since this product includes three items, the dimensions provided are for the entire box, not for any one item.). I use a different mouse that is a ball track only and doesn't slide at all so that can fit also), but I use the mouse every once in a while, and think it feels pretty good ergonomically too. LOVE the separate 10 key mouse pad...great to grab only when needed without using up space the rest of the time. The only things I wish the keyboard had were a distinctive feel to some of the side keys to help me navigate them without having to look and no cord (there are enough wireless signals around my house; I'd prefer not to have one for a device that is stationary).

I love this wireless keyboard and mouse set with the separate 10 key module! It's form and function nearly at it's best for me. The ability to move the 10 key pad is phenomenal. It really allows you set up your workspace in a way that works best for you. I'm not a fan of the finger print magnet finish. It looks really pretty when not full of finger print smudges. It takes a bit of getting used though if you're accustomed to a traditional keyboard layout with integrated 10 key. For me, it's not a dealbreaker. I feel the added flexibility of being able to position the 10 key where needed way outweighs the learning curve you'll experience using this nifty trio.

I have been suffering of tendonitis on both wrists for a while and since I have gone ergonomic these problems have gone away. I currently use an Evoluent mouse which I also recommend and this keyboard. What I love about this one is that the keys are not so far away, I was using another Microsoft model (Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000) which I really liked but this one is smaller and I love the keys, they are very silent! Also I love the fact that the numeric keypad is separate, that way I can place it on the left side and have my mouse closer to me (which is another ergonomic change). Anyways overall I am very pleased with this keyboard, so much that I own 2 of them (one for work and one for home), really recommend it! The only thing I don't like about it is that the palm rest gets some "grease" spots from resting the hands. But I can live with that!
