Customers love the ergonomic design of the Sculpt Keyboard and Mouse Bundle, praising its comfort and pain relief during extended typing sessions. The wireless feature is also well-received for its convenience, especially when working with spreadsheets. However, some users have concerns about the mouse's durability and responsiveness, as well as the keyboard's learning curve and battery life.

Comfort for my old typist hands and wrists...

I like that it feels so comfortable on my wrists and fingers. Light touch on the keys but not too light. Nice angle on the hands and wrists. for this retired document writer. My current desk has a pull-out sideboard, but it is not long enough to fit the wide keyboards, so the separate number pad allows me to put the keyboard flat while putting the numbers on the desk right next to it.

Recently bought 3 different ergo keyboards. This one is way better than the rest if you don't mind the keys being rearranged slightly for compact design. Thought I wouldn't like the unattached keypad but once I got used to it, it's the same thing.

Very Comfortable Typing Experience

Absolutely love the feel of the keyboard. Very similar to my laptop touch. Low profile keys, comfortable wrist-rest. I am not crazy about the separate numeric keypad but getting used to it. I would much prefer to have it integrated.
It's been quite a muscle-memory learning curve for my right hand. I came from a Logitech Wave and am having a hard time landing the backspace and delete keys. I have fairly long fingers but both feel like a bit of reach for me. I think it has something to do with the arc of the curve, especially along the top row.
I am also a little off on the 0 - = keys. It's taking some getting used to but I an determined to make it work because I love the overall feel of the keys after using the Wave for so many years (which I got tired of replacing every 12-16 months: letters wear off and the keys became resistant),
One thing that is particularly annoying is having to slide a switch vs having a Fn key to toggle the FKey's response. Not sure why anyone would think that's a good idea. I use Fkeys often but when I need to turn down my volume, for example, I must flick the switch from white to blue to use F11 to adjust the sound. Pure weirdness.
The mouse has a comfortable ergonomic design. I am quite pleased with that.

This keyboard, numeric pad and mouse combo is great. It make the keyboard smaller. Both the keyboard and the mouse are ergonomic. And the best thing is that it is wireless.

I was looking for an ergonomic keyboard to use at work and came across this one at Best Buy. It's not big and bulky like most ergonomic keyboards I'd found, and typing on it is nice and smooth. The mouse took some getting used to. It's really round and nothing like I'd ever used before, but I find it very comfy now. I would definitely recommend this keyboard set if you're looking for something ergonomic yet comfortable and not bulky. I purchased mine while it was on sale and used my rewards towards the purchase, so it was a great price!

AS GOOD AS I CAN FIND OUT THERE

I broke my left wrist pretty badly a couple decades ago, and I still feel the effects on cold days and when I do a lot of typing. Back then, I found an awesome ergonomic keyboard put out by ACER which had an ultra-extreme tilt up to the center with fingers turning inward, topped off with a touchpad in the center. Absolutely PERFECT!
Sadly, I guess not enough people liked it. That no longer being available, the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Wireless USB Keyboard and Mouse is the best I've seen since, and it's tactility is far superior to the Acer's! It's gawdawful expensive, and I'll keep paying the gawdawful price every few years as I wear 'em down!

It’s very stylish. It’s lightweight too. I love the split ergonomic design. Having the number pad detached is the best! You’ll love it.

I've had it a few weeks now and I have not had any problems with it. It's been wonderful to use and fits great with my hands. There is 1 thing that I don't like about it though. There is no light or anything to indicate when the caps lock is on. This makes it a pain for when you have to type in passwords and you have only so many attempts before the website locks your account. Otherwise I would highly recommend this keyboard and mouse combo.

Bought for Wrist Relief

I was having pain in my left wrist, and this keyboard was part of a multi-pronged approach to relieve the pain (which is much better already). Aside from that, it looks cool. I had initially had worries that by brain would have trouble adjusting to the layout. On that, the only issue is if you use your right hand to peck on things on the left side (like numbers, F4, etc) or vice versa. This becomes nearly impossible without looking if you've trained your brain for a standard keyboard. Aside from that, I have had no issues adjusting to the main keys, provided I don't look down at the keyboard.

Stopped working within 6 mo; Best Buy not helpful

I love the keyboard, the mouse is way too big for my small hand but with a thick wrist and arm support pad I've made it work. I would have given it 4 star as a result except over the last few months, after just 6 months of use, I started having issues with both keyboard and mouse. Keyboard keys get stuck and do this kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. And with the mouse, the click buttons have largely stopped working, sometimes they still work after you click 4-5 times. I contacted best buy and they said it was still under warranty, but no option to return/ exchange by mail, I have to drive 1 hour to the nearest Best Buy store to have them evaluate it and do the exchange. They offered instead to connect me with Microsoft, so after an hour of back and forth with Best Buy I'm out of luck and about to call Microsoft. Super frustrating customer service.

Nice and light weight. Great for gaming. A little awkward with the keypad being separate but on a desk it would probably be fine. Mouse takes some getting used to but once you do its great. You turn the keypad "off and on" by turning the number lock off and on. Wish there was an on/off for the keyboard though.

I purchased this to replace a previous ergo, and it's probably the most natural KB I've used. Even the chicklet-keys feel right; M$ did the right work on the feel and use of the keyboard.
I'm sure the Mouse is GREAT, but... I hate it; I'm a lazy mouser, and this one requires true ergo use. Still hooked on my Logi-M570 Marble+. ;-)
BestBuy should seriously put those out for their display systems.
They would sell a TON of these keyboards. I was really hesitant at first to purchase, because I couldn't try the board. The clerk was cool, and claimed would refund if unhappy, but wouldn't pop it open until after purchase.
No regrets!
Even better, no drivers to install; Windows 7 picked it right up, and both KB and mouse started working as soon as connected.
I think my typing speed has increased on it. It's that smooth.
