This is my favorite mouse keyboard. It took a minute to get use to, but it makes being on a computer all day much easier.

Really like the keyboard. Has a detachable height adjustor, held on by magnets. Mouse is easy on the hand.

I have a Mac, so this review is slightly biased. Really wanted to like this since I've been looking for an ergonomic keyboard for a while. Using it I found that I lost a few Mac keyboard capabilities. Overall, the quality of the keyboard was good and I enjoyed using it just didn't like the idea of loosing some keyboard capabilities that can be found on Mac keyboards.

Very happy overall with this product. Nothing negative enough to remove a star. I have concerns over whether the padding on the wristrest will wear off and become uncomfortable as it already has a shine to it after just 2 months of use. I also am super careful about taking the usb dongle out of my laptop whenever it is done and putting it back in the mouse which is an inconvenience, but if that USB dongle breaks or is lost you cannot replace it without buying a new set because it is encrypted to only the specific keyboard and mouse you purchased in the set.

I just got these items replacing my laptop for Java coding. I want to the store and put my hands on several keyboards. This one felt the best. The keys are not noisy and very smooth. It forces my hands to stay in their natural design which is great even though I know it's gonna take me a while to get used to it. But it's a great practice for my health, nerves and veins in my rest. I feel comfortable typing with it already.
The mouse is doing a great job as well. It's Ergonomic too.
Thank you Microsoft. I don't have to deal with my laptop anymore. Nice.

This keyboard worked great for 14 months until the keyboard portion stopped working. Replaced batteries, and then kept having to put them in and take them out every 5 minutes to get it to work. The mouse and number pad work just fine still. I type (writer) for a living so yes I use it a lot, but I've never spilled anything on it, dropped it, etc. Just decided to stop working. They need to stop making garbage and charging $130 for it. I'll go back to buying cheap throwdown keyboards.

The Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard has been great to use. Setup was easy, performance is smooth and the comfort is great. The ergonomic position provides a lot of comfort during long stretches of keyboard use. It took a little bit of time to get accustomed to the layout for a few keys but it was easy enough to re-learn. The mouse is also very good.
The only thing I'd change if I could would be attaching the 10-key pad to the main unit instead of it being a separate piece.

Carpal Tunnel Miracle!!

Got this keyboard about 2 weeks ago. Long story short, I have had major progressively worsening wrist pain for 3 or 4 months. It got so bad that I had to wear a brace for 23 hours a day to restrict movement, which of course turned out to be carpal tunnel.
I switched over to this ergonomic keyboard hoping it would help but wasn't holding my breath. I chose this one over a different brand after trying them out in store, since it felt more comfortable for me. 2 weeks later and the pain has improved dramatically. It is definitely still there, but now it is bearable and I only have to wear brace half the day now.
I can't believe the different in such a short amount of time.
So if you type a lot, you really need one of these, don't wait until the pain starts.
A few other comments.
It does take a little time getting used to with the spacing of the keys being a little different that a regular keyboard, especially with the shift and enter/backspace since they seem more stretched out on the ends.
I didn't initially like how the numeric keypad is separate since I use it somewhat regularly, but now I prefer it since I can put it in the most comfortable and efficient place for me and it's out of the way when you don't need it.
The only issue I've come across so far is it will sometimes disconnect from the computer and I need to take out the usb and reinsert it.

Phenomenal keyboard! Your hands do not hurt after typing for long periods of time. It is very comfortable. Does not take up much room and I really like the fact the number pad is separated from the actual keyboard. Not too crazy about the mouse I must say.

I bought this keyboard mouse combo to use for work. My job relies on using the computer and I have found that this keyboard and mouse can more than keep up. The keyboard design takes some time to get comfortable with, but now I could not imagine not using it. I bought the keyboard mouse combo around 8 months ago and have not had to change the batteries yet. Before buying, I read a lot of reviews online before buying and have not noticed any "lag" that others had mentioned. The only con that I have is the wrist rest discolours.

I love this keyboard combo. When I type on other keyboards my wrists start to ache and hurt. I purchased the first one for my home office and when I started a new job I tried to give their HP keyboard a try but I couldn't do it so I went out and bought another one of these and I have no problems typing at all. If this is your first split keyboard then it will take a day or two to get used to it but after that you'll wonder why you haven't had one all along.

The keyboard is adjustable and I'm enjoying it, but still getting used to the keypad being external to the keyboard. This is my first ergonomic keyboard. The mouse is awesome and helps with reducing wrist movement. I highly recommend these products!

This is a great set. I love the large size of the mouse. I also like how the number pad is separated from the keyboard so that the mouse can be closer to the body and now my left hand has a job too. I just have to get used to 10 keying as a lefty.

I'd cautiously recommend this to a friend.
I've owned Microsoft keyboards at various times over the last 16yrs+ and have always found that the quality is ok, but not great. After heavy use for the last 6mo+ the keys feel a little "loose" and make a "springy" sound that you won't feel right out of the box.
Honestly not sure if this thing would last me more than 3yrs. Perhaps that's good enough, but this is not a cheap keyboard either, so bear that in mind.
On a positive note, the natural curvature of the keyboard makes it flawless to type on day-in-and-day-out (if, of course, you can get over the loosey-goosey feeling on various keys after daily use for months on end). It does take some getting used to to type on a keyboard like this, but as someone who has previously struggled with his wrists I think that it's worth the effort to learn how to "type properly."
