Customers love the ergonomic design of the Sculpt Keyboard and Mouse Bundle, praising its comfort and pain relief during extended typing sessions. The wireless feature is also well-received for its convenience, especially when working with spreadsheets. However, some users have concerns about the mouse's durability and responsiveness, as well as the keyboard's learning curve and battery life.

It feels a little strange to type with at first to type with at first, but once you get used to it, it feels wonderful.

Love the design and feel of the keyboard, wish the number pad was connected so doesn't get misplaced on desk. The mouse is a strange shape, I like the way it feels but for me feel that i need a wrist pad so I don't bend my wrist incorrectly while holding the mouse.

I was a little concerned spending so much for a keyboard and mouse but I am so glad I did. The sleek, ergonomic design of the keyboard makes for very comfortable typing. It's thin profile and wireless capability make it easy to transport. The responsiveness of the keys is very good. The mouse is also extremely responsive. I really like how the compartments that hold the batteries for both the keyboard and mouse are magnetized. No more struggling to open to change the batteries. Note that the wireless USB has a slot inside the mouse making the set easy to transport.

At my place of work we use ergonomic keyboards and since I have no life and spend all of my time there I can barely type on my corsair mechanical gaming keyboard anymore. Since then I've opted for a pleb tier normie kb the sculpt... it works fine the mouse that came with it i don't bother using.

This is the flagship of the ergonomic keyboard fleet at Microsoft, so it better be good, and it is. I bought this to replace the same keyboard I have been using for several years. Ahh...the feeling of typing on a new keyboard. But seriously this is a great feeling keyboard. Though I have one complaint. It doesn't come with a caps on led. That can mess up entering passwords. But I still think it's a good keyboard.

This is my second set! Really love how comfortable the keyboard feels and the mouse works great because my wrist can rest on the desk without having to twist much like a regular mouse requires. The only slight problem - is that the USB receiver is not replaceable. It’s longer than a regular receiver and it sticks out a bit. If you plug and unplug it often it could break. I lost my first one so had to replace the whole set.

I will keep my review short since I am typing this on my phone. I had the Microsoft Natural 4000 keyboard and loved it. I was looking for a replacement, wireless preferred, and this fit the bill.
All in all this is a fantastic buy. Much lower profile than the 4000 or 7000, shorter key travel, and smaller overall size due to separation of number pad from the keyboard. That does throw off my typing rhythm however, since it makes the whole right side of the keyboard feel different. Something I am still working to get used to.
I use it to move between one office and another and the light weight and small size definitely work for that. In short, I highly recommend .

With the news that MS is discontinuing their PC accessories, I wanted to look into their keyboards and mice before it was too late. This is a great keyboard, and I love the shape and feel. The mouse takes a lot of getting used to, and I'm not quite sure if it's better for my hands than the trackpad I used previously, but it's decent, and I really like the keyboard.

Once you switch to an ergonomic set up you won't go back. Before I switched I was having pain in my wrists because my keyboard was too small and uncomfortable. With the split setup of the Microsoft ergonomic keyboard my pain has gone away and I found I can type more effectively.
Not having to deal with the wires on my desk is also a huge benefit.

Previously using the wireless mouse and keyboard that came with my pc, a Best Buy employee suggested switching to a different one to improve function. I switched to this Microsoft product and it was the best thing I could have done! It was like the difference between night and day! It has been awesome!

I personally love the minimalist design. Having the 10 key separate from the main keyboard allows me to have the mouse much closer to the main keyboard making the transition between faster. The keyboard gives just enough tactile feedback that can type fast and not miss keys. The mouse is decent for the general resting position of my hand, however using the scroll wheel feels a bit awkward to me. I also wish the hidden back button on the mouse was 1) easier to feel 2)easier to push. That being said I just don't try and find it. The window key on the mouse is very useful.
All around it's has a very high end feel to the keyboard. This includes the leather wrist rest and the battery doors are magnetic, a very nice touch. While I don't use the option height adjustment, it too attaches via magnets.

I use this with an iMac and a Macbook (2009, 2010 respectively) with no problems. I remapped the ctrl, cmd, etc keys through settings.
Having only tired the microsoft 4000 once, and finding it too bukly, I tried this one out. I havent spent time with these ergonomic lines so I am not used to the arrangement of the keys.
The keys are not as silky smooth like the macbook keys are (I use this with my 2009 Macbook, which I LOVE the keys but my wrists hurt after a long while). With this, the wrist angle is alleviated, however, again, the keys aren't the same silky feel as with my macbook, and the reach for some of the keys are a bit of a stretch. I find the backspace very far for my pinky. so whenever i tap it I often need to lift my hand from 'ready position.' Which is annoying because I often have to reorient my right hand on the keyboard. Additionally, now instead of getting wrist pain, I sometimes find pain on my distal forearm, I think because I am having to reach differently for the keys.
After 1.5 month of use, I still am not as speedy and accurate with this keyboard, and often find myself still enjoying the macbook keyboard. more. I used my macbook keyboard since 2010, almost everyday, so perhaps it will take time adjusting...
Nonetheless, I prefer this over the microsoft 4000 because
1. the keys are much quiter
2. the keyboard is smaller, and is wireless (I use a mouse and cannot stand how far the mouse is from the alpha keys on the 4000).
Additional notes:
-the receiver is a one-and-only....meaning you lose the receiver and your keyboard is worthless. So do not lose it. I do not know why microsoft made it like this. very disappointing.
-the mouse is useless. at least I found it to be. I use a logitech mouse.
-the num keypad is cool if you actually use it. I do not, and left it in the box.
