I purchased this combination for a new laptop computer. An ergonomic keyboard is a must for me and this one does the trick. Hasn't got heavy usage so far but it works well and was easy to integrate with the laptop.

I love this keyboard and mouse setup. It is very comfortable over long periods of time and because the number pad is separate it's easier to center the keyboard with the monitor.
I have been using one of the most popular ergonomic keyboards, Microsoft's Ergonomic Keyboard 4000, for YEARS so when I started looking for a wireless option I looked to Microsoft's lineup. I was not disappointed.

I admit that I didn't do much research before my purchase. I wanted an egro keyboard to replace my mechanical keyboard becuase the unnatural positioning of my hands when using a regular keyboard was starting to cause issues with my wrists.
I've used mechanical keyboards in the past, and have loved them. This keyboard is no execption. It feels great. I even love the front stand and the downward typing angle. It makes so much sense that anything else now feels very unnatural.
The keys a very responsive. Not as responsive as my mechanical keyboard, but nothing that I can't get used to. They feel very solid and easy to type on.
The mouse is equally solid. I read a review (after purchase) which said it felt like holding a grapefruit, and that is a good description. It feels very natrual and positions your wrist very well. Once I get more used to this mouse, I will love it.
The major issue that I have with this set is the number pad. I work with a lot of numbers and am constantly using the number pad. I loved the idea of the detached number pad because I can position it on my desk however I want. I still love the idea, its the execution on this product that is the problem.
As much love and thought that were put into the keyboard and the mouse, absoutly no thought was put into the number pad. There is nothing too it except a flat plastic rectangle with some buttons on it. It is on a completely different plane than the keyboard. It is not comfortable or natural to use. Rather than being able to simply move my hand over to the pad, I have to think about where the pad is and how to position my hand to use it. This is even though the pad is right next to my keyboard where the number pad usually is.
A very slight incline in the pad woudl have made all the diffrence. I keep my Casio MS-80B on my desk at all times and it is a joy to use. The Microsoft number pad is almost the exact same size and is a total challenge. It does not feel substantial, it feels like it will move when it is used, and it does not feel like it will hold up.
Do I recommend this keyboard, yes. Will i be keeping it, yes. Will I get used to the number pad, also yes. However, with a few minor tweaks, this could have been a much better product overall.
Before you by, I recommend checking it out to make sure that you are comfortable with the number pad as it exists. If not, you may want to consider a different option.

I decided to go with this keyboard combination because it was truly an ergonomic keyboard, it is a little weird having the keypad separate from the keyboard. Using the mouse at first was weird but then it became natural and now I am getting one for my office.

Love! love! love! this keyboard and mouse. Keyboard strokes are very lite. Mouse rest is very comfortable. No pain at the end of the day. If you suffer from carpal tunnel you will enjoy it. You will look up and realize your shift ended 2 hours ago. Pain from typing all day? I say try it out. my hands love me for this purchase.. ;) I only wished it had a back light. Call it Ergo Nite Rider if you do. :)

Took a a few days to get used to the spacing. It is similar to my big old clunker, but once I got the feel of it I love it... The number pad works well, mouse is great fit... I give it 5 stars...
Very easy to throw into a brief case and use with my laptop..

Bought this as a replacement since my current Microsfot keyboard stopped working. Previously bought this as a gift and good good feedback.
As with any ergonomic keyboard it takes a bit of getting used to especially with the layout of the special function keys. Mouse is unusual but I don't use it as prefer trackballs.
Overall quite satisfied with this purchase.

this keyboards shape is pretty helpful in improving ergonomics, but I don't think they quite got it right and there is no light on the cap lock. I also miss an attached ten key.

I have a nice desk with a drawer that needs a small keyboard. This ergonomic keyboard fits the bills. There is a bit of a learning curve with relearning where all the keys are, but once I did, I took off writing with speed.

The keyboard is very easy to use when you get used to the key spacing. It uses standard batteries and the battery case is magnetic for both the mouse and keyboard. You need to place the receiver in an open USB port and it then just workds.

Angle is great for protecting wrist and fingers. Separate number pad Is good for arranging your desk. However frequent use of the the keyboard is not as easy since it may move separate from the keyboard (slide). I still prefer the size and usefulness compared to regular keyboard’s and those with large support pads or bulky.

This keyboard not only is light and sleek it is comfortable to use. Even though the 10 key is a separate piece, it is very easy to use. The chunky mouse takes a few days to get used to but once I did I love it --and it is quite ergonomic.

I have suffered from carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome from too much typing at computer. This ergonomic designed keyboard and mouse have helped alleviate pain and tension from use and are recommended by my doctor and physical therapist.
