As advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only got this for pc gameing on steam. Im no way an xbox fan. Least of all their sticks. Its probably my biggest complaint about xbox. Playstation sticks are the best hands down but companies on pc dont support them on steam and are a hassle so i went this route. But program works well for mapping. Wish someone would make a dualshock version. But i didnt let my distaste for its grip affect my review because i knew what it was like before i bought it lol. I have never liked this stick compared to a playstation stick.

Excellent Wired Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Xbox 360 Wired Controller last week and I like it better then the wireless ones. I've had many wireless controllers and they break down faster and require to be charged or add new batteries quite a lot. This wired one needs no batteries and lasts longer. If you don't mind the wire while playing, this is a good controller to have. Also don't buy the off brand controllers, they brake down quicker and you'll have to replace them often. I order this one on line because I don't think they cary them in the stores any more (at least the one were I went to didn't) It took about 4 days for the controller to arrive my house.

Good Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a nice comfortable wireless controller. All buttons are easily accessible and button pressing is descent, and I never had issues where button commands were ignored. The controller came with a wireless adapter for PC use, allowing me to play games off of my STEAM account that supports controller game play. STEAM games that use controllers based their designs off of the Xbox 360 controllers, and I never had any compatibility issues when using my controller online. The only issue I've ever had with the controller, is that sometimes the wireless connection will disconnect for short periods of time, leaving me confused when I suddenly lose control in game play. I believe the issue occurs because of the battery power. I use a USB recharge jack to recharge the battery in the controller, and when I play with this jack connected, the disconnection issues don't occur. But overall I like it, its comfortable, the buttons are easy to press and aren't too sensitive. I would recommend this product for controller players.

Manufacturer brand is best brand
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a game pad for my computer, and prior experience with my 360 suggested that it's controller would be adequate. Found out that you need a dongle to use a wireless controller, and the play and charge kit is not ALSO an input connection. Given that, I figured that I'd rather have a wired controller and not have to deal with any of that. After reading reviews online, I came to the conclusion that buying an off brand 360 controller was a terrible idea. Haven't had any issues with this Microsoft controller, and I imagine that it will last a long time, given my sporadic usage habits.

Just what I needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this because I wanted to play various Steam games with a wireless controller. What I didn't know was that I could buy the wireless adapter for 16 bucks on a poplar shopping website that starts with an A. The adapter is the same as what comes with this one, but allows you to use Xbox controller if you already have them. Net out: If you don't currently have any controllers for an Xbox 360 get this. Otherwise, research your options.

Great for PC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller for my PC to replace the wired version I have. Not to say that the wired version is inferior or anything, but I wanted a wireless setup and this fit the requirements I was looking for. I use a 3rd party software to turn off it off so that I don't have to either wait or take off the battery. As for the controller itself, it has a nice heft to it. It's something I like, makes it feel not hollow if it was lightweight. The grip I have with it is great, feeling as if it won't be easy to slip out of my hands. The buttons and bumpers are great to press. All in all, nothing but love to it.

Great Gaming Addition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seeing that I have played console games for years and just recently started PC gaming, the wireless Xbox 360 controller was a great addition to my arsenal. I prefer mouse and keyboard for FPS games but really enjoy the controller for games like Assassins Creed and a few others in my collection. Really wish the controller come with the rechargeable battery and cable and that it wasn't an added expense, but oh well, I have it now. Hardcore gamers look down on you for using a controller but for someone just making the transition, it has really helped make the transition a little easier as I become more comfortable with mouse and keyboard.

Like every other Microsoft controller out there
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basically, this is like every other Microsoft Xbox 360 controller, but with a shiny purple color. I got this controller on clearance for like $32, so I really couldn't beat that price for a brand new controller. The only thing I really noticed is that the joysticks are updated. Instead of them being smooth with ridges like the older Xbox 360 controller, the joysticks on this controller are entirely flat but have a grip type material on them. It hasn't affected play at all and it's really not that big of a difference. Just a cosmetic or cheaper design choice probably. But otherwise, this is just your standard issue controller.

Good for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this simply because it is purple, the purple comes through nicely and it looks neat. I like the twisting D-pad however I assumed I could use it in the + form without accidentally pressing the side or diagonal buttons, I was quite disappointed there because that is one of the reasons I upgraded my controller. Warning- the chrome is a fingerprint magnet. I rated the durability as a 4, because I have not had it long. Pros- Good color, seems durable, buttons and sticks are very responsive, RB and LB feel improved Cons- Innaccurate D-Pad button presses (all 360 controllers), Analog stick can get slightly pulled out of socket, attracts fingerprints, feels like the chrome could have been a tad shinier. Summary- It is a great controller for the price and it feels like they improved on the original controller in a few ways, however it is not going to win any design awards due to the flaws mentioned earlier, plus the fact that it attracts grease dirt and fingerprints is a big con for me.

Perfect Controller for PC gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller because I needed a good controller to play some of my games on the PC with. Personal opinion is Microsoft makes some of the best controllers in the business hands down, not to mention it works with Windows right out of the box of course. Great battery life and 99% of the games out there has default settings for xbox controllers means this thing works great out of the box and at a great price as well! If you need a controller do yourself a favor and get this one or the xbox One controller if you are looking to spend more.

Perfect for Mac/PC gameplay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller for my Macbook pro to use for playing games. It works great! The controller software works well and its the same standard build of the Xbox wireless controllers. It connects via USB cable so its not cordless. The good thing about it vs cordless is not having a bulky battery on the back makes it feel better when holding it. Better quality than many of the third party controllers for computers.

Great controller PC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Microsoft controller to play games on my laptop. I use Windows 8 and I was extremely impressed how it synced automatically with my pc. It worked perfectly without any additional downloads. I use it to play games purchased from Steam and once again, everything syncs perfectly. I highly recommend it, this controller does not require any additional software or downloads, it works great straight out of the box. I recommend the wired version of the xbox controller.

Comfortable & Convenient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is fantastic. The x-box style controller is very comfortable and easy to use. The installation was a breeze! I highly recommend this controller for anyone that plays games. Switching from keyboard to the controller is as simple as turning the controller on! What more could you ask for as far as convenience?! My ONLY gripe, and it's not even a big deal at all really, is that this is battery powered. NO, not the rechargeable kind. I'm talking about 2 double A batteries. Meh, not that big of a deal. 9/10

Overall Good Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this cause I play games on PC regularly. It's great design is unquestionably one of the best on the market. Using a controller for pc might sound weird but I am also a console gamer and like the gamepad. I had trouble during installation which was due mainly on the fact that I use a program called MotionInjoi. For some reason I had to go in and switch the settings manually (with the help of Microsoft.Customer Service). If you don't know what MotionInjoi is you won't face this problem as it is a download for something else. Anyway, what's great about it is the way it feels in your hand, the wireless function, and the fact that most games automatically recognize the gamepad. The downside is that since it's wireless it might interfere with your current wifi connection and slow your connection. Another downside is that it requires AA batteries as opposed to a rechargeable battery like a pS3 controller. But overall I'm satisfied with the product.

High quality wireless controller for PC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I bought this controller I used a wired Logitech and a wired 360 controller. The Logitech's r1 broke after about six months and the wired 360 got a short after about the same. So far this controller has performed great. Little to none connection issues, and the sticks and buttons are high quality. I use Win 7 and it was more or less plug and play. I bought a second one for my wife, and it is very easy to connect the second controller. We have even played over LAN a few times and the wifi connection between the controllers never crossed. You can connect a controller to a specific receiver by simply pushing the sync buttons on the receiver and the controller. Otherwise the controller will just automatically connect to the first available receiver. I play a lot of games with controllers on my PC and I think this is the best option out there for wireless PC gaming.

Still worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.at its current lifespan, this controller is becoming... outdated i guess?? but none the less, i purchased it for some casual gaming on my pc, its has quality, wireless, i can use rechargeable batteries/pack in them and it feels quite comfortable in my hand. other than that, its a game controller, what do you really expect? i do admit that its not the latest and greatest but other than design, it does the same thing as the xbox one controller... unless u have the elite controller, which in this case, is irrelevant.

Its a controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can you really say about a controller? it works very well. its just like the original transforming greyscale controller they released a year back except its now in colors. I own two of these and they are set up to work for different games with the Freeks I have installed - I recommend those as well given that we all don't have the same sized hand and those really do cut down on the cramping thumbs issue plus give you better reaction time. Oh, and don't buy this controller unless its on sale, otherwise you paid too much. Especially considering its not compatible with XBone.

Xbox 360 Controller, Still the Best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this "wired" XBox 360 controller so that I can finally use my PC with a controller that works. The wireless ones that I had; the receiver broke. I went with a wired one after seeing that there were less compatibility issues and better latency with a wired controller. XBox 360 controllers continue to be the best design, in my opinion. Fits great. Can't wait to use an XBox One controller on my PC. After all these years, these controllers should be less expensive.

Keyboard control for games don't cut it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried to play games on a new PC. Action games like COD and Battlefield are hard on the keyboard especially after playing for a long time on XBOX. So picked up an XBOX 360 wired controller. First, you don't need the XBOX controller for PC. You end up paying extra for the DVD with the driver. You don't need it for a windows machine. Plug and play still works. It automatically found and downloaded the driver. Up and running with the controller in 5 minutes. Ok, so I said wires was not so great in the summary. But for gaming, a wired controller is a must. Too much lag otherwise.

Great controller for playing Steam games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this connected to my computer. It comes with the wireless adapter so if you have spare wireless Xbox 360 controllers they will connect also. I haven't had any issues with playing PC games with this controller as long as they support controllers. If the game does not support controllers and you really want one then you need to by the Steam controller.
