Very versatile game controller. I tested and used on the following devices: Android Phone/Tablet Windows Surface 3 running Windows 10 Amazon Firestick Comes with Game Controller and 2 AA batteries. Very easy to pair with devices. Once the controller is paired with a device, you have to select the pair button to pair it to another device. If you want to use it with the first device you paired it with, you will need to remove the paired controller in your list and re-pair it. I purchased this device primarily to work with the Samsung VR Oculus.

I had to already exchange 2 of these due to the joystick automatically shifting. First was left joystick, which was movement, then the right, Now After my 2 exchange the 3rd right joystick which was movement starting shifting. If your lucky enough you will get one that works just fine but more than likely, there is already a loose joystick. I am having to exchange mine. This controller clearly is built cheap to make money off of it. If you happened to buy this controller, dont be afraid to exchange it many times till you get one that works. More than likely we need microsoft to built a product thats axcually new, not broken.

I bought this controller for my PC to replace the wired version I have. Not to say that the wired version is inferior or anything, but I wanted a wireless setup and this fit the requirements I was looking for. I use a 3rd party software to turn off it off so that I don't have to either wait or take off the battery. As for the controller itself, it has a nice heft to it. It's something I like, makes it feel not hollow if it was lightweight. The grip I have with it is great, feeling as if it won't be easy to slip out of my hands. The buttons and bumpers are great to press. All in all, nothing but love to it.

I needed a game pad for my computer, and prior experience with my 360 suggested that it's controller would be adequate. Found out that you need a dongle to use a wireless controller, and the play and charge kit is not ALSO an input connection. Given that, I figured that I'd rather have a wired controller and not have to deal with any of that. After reading reviews online, I came to the conclusion that buying an off brand 360 controller was a terrible idea. Haven't had any issues with this Microsoft controller, and I imagine that it will last a long time, given my sporadic usage habits.

    Good wireless controller

The buttons and the resistance on the sticks feel identical to the standard controllers, so you don't have to get used to a different feeling controller. Has plenty wireless range, I use it about 15 feet from system and it works great without any lag. It is very convenient to be able to turn system on and off from controller. It connects to system easily, push connect button on system then push connect button on controller and you're done. I highly recommend getting the rechargable battery for it (available in black also) to save money on replacement batteries.

This controller is a nice upgrade from the old Xbox controllers. The controller feels stronger and yet it's a little smaller than the 1st-gen xbox controllers. The wireless controller has a very strong connection and the sleek design fits perfect on the hands. I recommend the wireless over the wired controls because you can connect four instead of just two (through the USB). Plus it saves room for the Vision cam or a external hard drive. Long lasting even with AA batterys or just use the Lith-ion battery and save some cash on it all together. I love the wireless controller and feel that it's a must for the Xbox 360.

I bought this controller because I needed a good controller to play some of my games on the PC with. Personal opinion is Microsoft makes some of the best controllers in the business hands down, not to mention it works with Windows right out of the box of course. Great battery life and 99% of the games out there has default settings for xbox controllers means this thing works great out of the box and at a great price as well! If you need a controller do yourself a favor and get this one or the xbox One controller if you are looking to spend more.

I never bother with third party controllers, as the quality is usually sub-par. Get this official Microsoft controller. The controller takes two AA batteries, which I think is more convenient that rechargeable controllers. Whenever the battery dies, just replace the batteries. I would say the battery life is pretty good, but make sure you always have extra batteries on hand. I just bought this one to replace an old one that lasted three years with nearly daily use. I have another one that is still going strong. It is pretty durable as well. It doesn't feel cheap.

What can you really say about a controller? it works very well. its just like the original transforming greyscale controller they released a year back except its now in colors. I own two of these and they are set up to work for different games with the Freeks I have installed - I recommend those as well given that we all don't have the same sized hand and those really do cut down on the cramping thumbs issue plus give you better reaction time. Oh, and don't buy this controller unless its on sale, otherwise you paid too much. Especially considering its not compatible with XBone.

Tried to play games on a new PC. Action games like COD and Battlefield are hard on the keyboard especially after playing for a long time on XBOX. So picked up an XBOX 360 wired controller. First, you don't need the XBOX controller for PC. You end up paying extra for the DVD with the driver. You don't need it for a windows machine. Plug and play still works. It automatically found and downloaded the driver. Up and running with the controller in 5 minutes. Ok, so I said wires was not so great in the summary. But for gaming, a wired controller is a must. Too much lag otherwise.

So yeah. whenever i go to play Assasin's Creed, i use this controller because it makes me feel like a winner. Therefore, i am one c: I do have a few complaints, though. Number one: when my cousins come to visit, it's a constant battle to get to the controller, so you should buy at least two. Number two: it shows your fingerprints suuuuuper easy. so don't commit a crime and then leave this at the scene because they will find you. And, Number three: i ordered this online, right? so, if you do that too, while you're opening the plastic and stuff.. be careful.. c: plastic is sharp.

I bought this to use on my laptop. I usually connect my laptop to my big screen and use with Steam. It works great and I haven't found any problems with it. I only wish there were more steam games with controller support. The controller feels good in my hands and I can play for awhile with it still being comfortable. The only thing I don't like is that it takes batteries. Overall it's a solid controller and does its job very well.

This controller is fantastic. The x-box style controller is very comfortable and easy to use. The installation was a breeze! I highly recommend this controller for anyone that plays games. Switching from keyboard to the controller is as simple as turning the controller on! What more could you ask for as far as convenience?! My ONLY gripe, and it's not even a big deal at all really, is that this is battery powered. NO, not the rechargeable kind. I'm talking about 2 double A batteries. Meh, not that big of a deal. 9/10

I like the fact that Microsoft has a brand new look to the controller making it all black with a chrome center button. The buttons work great, but i have a problem with my controller already. My controller does what i like to call the "ghost movement" where you don't even touch the controller and the character in your game moves on its own. It's very irritating how this happens. I've only had this controller for about a month and i play on the weekends for a few hours at a time and this already happened. I'm taking this in and getting it repaired.

The best part of the new design is the transforming disc, you can click the D-pad to make it less sensitive and more "clicky" or flip it back to give the smoother "joystick feel". The back is NOT the shiny slippery silver, but is matte black, which feels better and matches my keypad (messenger kit - black). The last bit to note is the rim that they have on the thumbsticks, it allows for more "flicking" for FPS games and smoother control when zooming in or making small movements. A really nice controller. I also have a professional wired controller, but use this more.

Yes,it's good...wireless...vibrates : awesome. Actually I was looking online for a blue controller for my son's blue xbox 360 & I found this black one with a low price (lower than $45, I don't remember the exact price) so I added it to my shoppingcart. About a week later I ordered it after giving-up finding a blue one and...it's so good, works perfectly as a wireless one. The only thing I didn't like about it: it doesn't have that hair-trigger at its R&L buttons but its still wireless & so good, you can't get every perfect thing with such a low price.

I only got this for pc gameing on steam. Im no way an xbox fan. Least of all their sticks. Its probably my biggest complaint about xbox. Playstation sticks are the best hands down but companies on pc dont support them on steam and are a hassle so i went this route. But program works well for mapping. Wish someone would make a dualshock version. But i didnt let my distaste for its grip affect my review because i knew what it was like before i bought it lol. I have never liked this stick compared to a playstation stick.

I'm embarrassed to say, I can't even venture a guess on how many hours my 8yo son has logged on his xbox with this controller-it's held up remarkably well considering he's not the most gentlest gamer out there- I wasn't even planning in buying this, but I saw it on sale, and thought how great the first one he has had held up, I thought it'd make a great spare for friends or if he should happen to break his first one- the camo is great- he loves it, close enough to 'customizing' his own, that I got out if having to special order a more expensive custom job-

I had forgotten why I decided to stay away from OFFICIAL Xbox 360 controllers. Out of the 3 I have purchased, ALL 3 have had issues. One with joystick issues, one with squeaking triggers, and this last one with an issue with the down button on the D-Pad and an issue in which the left trigger seems to lose power when holding it and pressing multiple buttons. To anybody considering a genuine controller, I GREATLY suggest the Afterglow as it is virtually identical in every aspect and the analog sticks are as perfected as the original.

at its current lifespan, this controller is becoming... outdated i guess?? but none the less, i purchased it for some casual gaming on my pc, its has quality, wireless, i can use rechargeable batteries/pack in them and it feels quite comfortable in my hand. other than that, its a game controller, what do you really expect? i do admit that its not the latest and greatest but other than design, it does the same thing as the xbox one controller... unless u have the elite controller, which in this case, is irrelevant.
