We bought the laptop for our son who is now attending college in CA. He's only owned it for a little over a month, and the charger no longer holds a charge. Is it under some sort of warranty to where we can get the charger replaced?

A good everyday notepad but the touchscreen does not work.

My son really wanted this laptop for college, 10 days after purchasing the laptop the screen started to flicker. Unfortunately, we had to return it back to Best Buy and they were sold out of this laptop . He purchased a MacBook instead.

Not sure why it's slow, even opening programs. Not as fast as I expected.

Good laptop doesnt last 12 hours like it says on the description but it does last about 6 hours thats good enough for me so ketting you know ahead of time

This computer acts crazily. It costs 999, better buying a MacBook.

Had for approx.6 weeks. Daughter had it in car it was on the floor in a case and in a book bag and somehow the entire screen broke and is black and pink and will not do anything. Very disappointed with the quality for the price.

I had my surface laptop less than 24 hours, spent 2 hours on the phone with Microsoft tech support and it turns out I need to exchange it because it’s defective.

I bought this computer and it crashed all the time with minimal work on everyday tasks with office 365 and chrome.

I have used the MS Surface laptop heavily (daily) for 4 year and 3 months, before it begins to have problem occasionally (might not be the laptop's fault). Generally speaking, it's a reliable computer. My only complaint is that it doesn't allow me to type "Standardized" Chinese character by Pinyin (an input method), like what I can always do on other computers or cell phone. Should I knew this earlier, I wouldn't purchase this laptop. However, for people who don't need to type Standardized Chinese character by PingYin method, I would say MS Surface is a nice laptop.

This is a great laptop, for a great price (I received it on sale for $799). My only complaint is the lack of number pad. Obviously, I could’ve realized it was lacking one by being more observant, but did not realize until I bought it. You definitely miss it when it’s no longer there. Otherwise this comp is great.

This is an amazing laptop super light and convenient to carry around.

Originally came as a 4gb base, but for the price it just wasn't worth the money - now for the same cost, you get the 8gb with 128 ssd - WELL worth the price for the design quality and functionality.
