I needed my laptop to work , it how I do my job. But it cost too much, When I went on amazon it was only 30 bucks when I spent 89 bucks for it on best buy.

Other, cheaper, alternatives may have worked. Judge for yourself if it is worth the extra money. It's hard to say. Some have issues with the cheaper cords, while a larger number say they work fine. I was worried it a non-Microsoft cord would damage my Surface Pro.

The power moves through the cord Into the Microsoft surface pro and brings power and u can use it then... quite ingenious actually as 8 have before had to use genetic energy to run my laptops and that can get tiring.

So yeah you need it you might as well pony up.

They seem to crack and expose wires around the fat end of the charger cord. I see no signs of that happening (so far) with this cord. The other two chargers, where two different brands and a lot less expensive.

Best Material Ever, Never knots up!

It charges faster than the original power cord that comes with the Surface Pro 6. I enjoy the extra USB port in the charging block, definitely comes in handy! Highly recommend.
