Love the computer, but glad I purchased the warranty. After 13 months the hard drive had problems. This purchase was made using the warranty and a few more dollars to upgrade. I did purchase the warranty due to our experience. Love the computer but $3,000 and a problem? Hopefully this one is better.

Prior to this purchase I owned a Surface 3 Pro, which I loved. I needed something more powerful and after considering HP and Lenovo products, I went with the best. Price is steep, but worth it.

Very responsive, a bit pricey, but very fast and lots of space

Best hybrid laptop on the market in my opinion. I use it for CAD designing products and floor plans and it works flawlessly. Rendering time are comparable to full desktops designed for cad and the gpu makes a big difference. I would recommend this product for any hardcore designers or graphics user.

Surface Book is a very flexible machine. Ease of use is exceptional

The Surface is great. The outward facing camera is great for lectures where I can use OneNote to record lectures and take pictures of presentation screens. But once in a while it reboots on its own. I think it may relate to the detachable tablet connection getting loose.

i really wanted to keep this, but my pocketbook wouldn't allow it!

MY WIFE HAS ALWAYS HAD COMPUTERS PROVIDED BY WORK AND SHE SPENT A LOT OF TIME RESEARCHING THIS AS IT WOULD BE HER FIRST PERSONAL COMPUTER. SHE WOULD BE USING IT IN RETIREMENT SO THE ART FUNCTION WAS IMPORTANT TO HER. SO FAR EXCELLENT SHE'S VERY HAPPY AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT.

We considered several products before selecting the Surface Book. So far the performance has been excellent and the features have been very helpful. Processing speed has been excellent for any application.

I have wanted something that had the power of a work laptop but without the weight and could be used as a tablet. This fit all my requirements. It detaches and reattaches easily. Since I like a keyboard when doing work, I have that feature as well. I no longer have to carry both a tablet and my laptop, it is an all in one.

I have had many laptops over the years, but this new surface book is amazing.. Love all the new technology that Microsoft builds into this machine showcasing all the windows 10 features. Super powerful machine and would highly recommend for any power user

I am using this primarily to edit photography and I love it. The stylis pen and dial make editing super easy. The touchscreen detaches as a tablet or be flipped around put in drawing mode.

I paid more to get a Microsoft laptop to avoid at all costs giving HP another dime of my money. I realize there are still other vendors to choose from, but this is a great pc, made better by the detachable screen, which serves as sweet tablet for short periods of time (<= ~3 hours).

I really like how fast this computer and great graphics. It is exactly what I was looking for in a high performance computer.

You get what you pay for, and in this case that's a good thing. High quality parts make this computer worth the money. Great screen, fast ssd hard drive and lots of memory. Oh and it looks great too.

Once again buying a new computer to keep up to date as software doesn't work on older platforms. In a week or month this shiny new hotness will be out of date falling down the innovation curve and buyers remorse will kick in - as it has since the late seventies.

It is a good laptop but a bit expensive. Detaching the screen had some problems in the beginning which were resolved after Windows update. The battery life is not as good as what is in the specifications but still it's fine, 7-8 hours instead of 16!

I needed to buy a laptop for school and work. The sales associate was very knowledgeable and helpful. I left Best Buy happy and satisfied. Thank you again!

This is by far a top of the line unit. It far exceeds the capabilities of the Mac Book Air. The i7 is fast and the software is exceptional. I prefer using eMail Client over Microsoft factory installed email.
