Have been using computers since 1985 Marvel at how reasonable computers are. Paid $25,000.00 for 25 megabytes of memory and the computer was in a box was twice the size of and old fashioned bread box

Needed a light, but durable and reliable laptop as I frequently travel. After talking with a Best Buy rep in the store and having a ton of my questions answered I decided to buy this Surface Book. Very happy with the decision to go with this laptop.

My daughter has often used this surface book, which is much smaller than her ASUS, for her graphic design work that she does in college. The only problem was that it did not come with the surface pen.

I mainly use this for work and occasional gaming sessions. Overall it's a good laptop for games and an excellent laptop for office work. I like the functionality and the ergonomics of it.

I bought this device to use it for adobe, but I realized that i]I needed a bigger screen to be comfortable when I do my design. I had to return it back only for that reason.

Bought this with the idea of doing laptop, a docking station and tablet. I have been very disappointed. The screen is awesome and I like the way that the keyboard and screen attach and detach. However, I'm not certain if it is Windows 10 or the hardware or what, but the surface locks up and I have to do a hard shut down (which is not easy to find out; hold the power button down for 20 seconds) at least a dozen times in just over two months. I have found that some regular software is very slow in running. It makes no sense. Then there is the docking station. Specific cables are needed to be able to use a monitor, read up on this carefully. I had to buy a multi-port USB hub to ensure I had the ability to attach my various backup drives, etc. As far as the monitor, I've struggled with having consistency in how the font size works on the monitor. It also is a bit challenging to set it up so that you can close the lid and have only a monitor work properly. I'm also not thrilled with the use of this as a tablet. Through microsoft app site, there are few of the main apps that I use available on there. Not sure if this is just due to windows 10 or what. It is disappointing. For what I paid for this, it should be much more intuitive to use, be faster with software and not lock up on me. I should have bought a regular laptop at less that $1,000.

I had the "low-end" 1st gen Surface Book and decided to upgrade. I gotta say, I really didn't notice much speed improvement, and the 2GB discreet graphics was simply wanting for a machine with this price tag. I LOVE the Surface Book and its versatility. But in the end, it's simply too expensive for what you get.

Easiest setup I have ever seen. The features are every bit as good as the claims. Fast and responsive.

Needed a new laptop for work that i could also use around the house and this has everything i could need for work and love the touch screen

Pretty powerful, though it lack 7th gen i7; love that the screen becomes a nice-looking tablet, and drawing is amazingly accurate and fun.

Excellent gift for my daughter. She loves to draw and this gives her the ability to do that plus have a computer to meet all her needs.

Everything works great running dual monitors off of it. The only thing I wish is that the key board could also just fold back all the way. It would be helpful when doing PS.

Configuration is good, but still has some driver bugs, specially when connecting it to external devices (e.g. Surface dock, External Monitor..). Battery lifetime is average.

Great laptop but a little overpriced. Should have a holder that secured the pen to the laptop. Magnetic doesn't do the job when putting in and out of a work bag.

Bought the Surface Book and couldn't be happier. I've had a Surface, Pro, and now the Book and it's worth every penny.

The Surface Book I purchased, is everything that I want and it does all the things that I anticipated for it do do.

This is great wouldnt buy a different one ever in my life that is definitely for sure what a find yes it is great

This is a great product from Microsoft to work with and gives you a option to use it like a workbook or tab.
