What can I say, we all know what this device is. Works as expected, solid feeling, good performance crazy power in a tablet. I am a programmer it is what I do for a living, after using this for a month I am in the process of using the surface book as my primary computer. I honestly just have no use for my desktop.

The Microsoft line is the only systems at BB that come with Windows Pro, which is needed for our corporate environment. This is an excellent machine for those needing a windows machine. Note, it is a laptop first and a tablet second. We are using this for several projects and for collaborative training. Bar none, if you are looking for a solid Windows machine, this is a great choice.

I highly recommend this PC. It is very light weight and very fast processor.

Just got this laptop. First, it was like lightning compared to what I was used to especially on boot up. Second, forgot my charger while on vacation. More than a week later I discovered that fact after my laptop ran out of battery. Didn't know my charger was gone. If you are concerned about battery life then this laptop is the one. Great processing power and incredible battery.

Great computer for solidworks and much more. A bit pricey but is well worth it.

After months of waiting for the 2nd gen of Surface Books and then hours of research I got this with still some hesitation. The 1st gen Surface Book had so many bugs and kinks that any buyer of the Surface Book with Performance Base needed to go through a check list to make sure everything was fixed. Unless you are doing intensive 3D or video / graphics then this is a near perfect laptop for creatives.

This is my second surface book I wanted to upgrade the hdd from 256 to 512 and get the performance base. There is a difference that is noticeable when using graphic intense programs but for everyday use I would go with the standard base. I would recommend a surface book to anyone that asked it is a great computer.

This is a fantastic laptop. Expensive, but worth it, as a perfect compromise between form and function. Would have liked to have seen a better GPu (1050m or something), but the 965m with improved battery life made this a very nice refresh.

I have only had the machine a short while but so far I am in love. It is versatile and well made. I was concerned about the hinge and the screen/tablet attachment to the keyboard portion. It is high quality. Everything about it seems top rate. So far it has functioned quickly and flawlessly.

A remarkable machine for any highly productive individual. Windows 10 is easy to use, and powerful enough for the most avid power user. Go for it. You know you want to. If you're even remotely interesting in switching from apple, the Surface Book is the way to go. You won't regret it.

This is a great design and concept for a laptop. The system operates great overall and is easy to use in detached mode. Where I don't give it 5 stars is business use and docking station work. It is iffy at best docking with multiple monitors. They need to improve this area.
