I like this laptop a lot, though I wish I had bought the one with a bit more memory. It's plenty fast and I like the fact that the keyboard is detachable, even if I'm probably never going to use it. I've looked into buying a docking station so I can attach another computer screen or two and I could always use more USB slots. This has two, but I could certainly use three or four. My students love it when I pull this out and let them use it. They love the way it looks, the remarkable thinness and, of course, the detachable screen. To them, it's a nifty trick and that may be the best way to describe it; a reliable little computer that can perform a neat little track.

Love it! It boots up super fast and runs smoothly. The keyboard has a nice typing feel to it and the metal design is very sleek and nice. My only mild flaws would be, I wish it had a '10' key number pad and I wish it had something built in to hold the pen.

Bought one of these for business use. Loved the versatility and battery life so much I bought a second one for my high-schooler. great size, excellent battery life, comfortable keypad and fast processing. Love it!

The screen is so nice on this! Fast and love that it can be used as a tablet. My daughter just loves it and it'll be great for her as she starts college. Thanks Microsoft and Best Buy for such a great product!!

I bought the surface book 2 for my wife and she loves it! It doesn't weigh very much, and is easy to use. It has a secure keyboard that can still come off (for use as a tablet).

This laptop is fast, cool looking, and super lightweight. I use it to engineering programs at school and it is easy to use anywhere. I would buy it 10 out of 10 times.

I have been using the Microsoft Surface Book 2 for a couple weeks now and I am completely satisfied. I wanted a new laptop for Grad School. I like to take notes on my computer to save paper (printing isn't cheap) but I also like to write my notes. This laptop makes it so easy to detach the keyboard and start writing on the notes in tablet mode. I also really like the feel of the computer as a whole. It is easy to use as a tablet, the keyboard is nice, and it does not weigh too much. I definitely recommend this computer for college students and more!

My favorite aspect of this laptop was the fact that the tablet version is extremely light yet large. You simply can't get that with any other tablet. The removable keyboard allows for the tablet to be light because the extra batteries are housed in the keyboard. The metal feels extremely soft and nice to the touch. Not cold in bare skin lap.

Upgraded from the Surface Pro 3 to the Surface Book 2 for the larger screen size and better keyboard. Plus my pro 3 was 5 years old and it was time for something new. I love this thing. Much easier to use on your lap. It's nice that the screen can be flipped around so you can use the keyboard as a tablet stand if you aren't planning on doing any heavy typing. Feels very strong and well built. Def recommend it. Only took 1 star off for the price, seems a little high for the process power & memory you get. But it's an awesome machine that has replaced my desktop & laptop & tablet so it was worth it.

I switched from Mac for the past 10+ years to the Microsoft Surface Book 2. The look and feel of the laptop is great. It's a bit top heavy because of the detachable portion but that hasn't been a problem for me. I love being able to switch between laptop mode, tablet mode, and a viewing mode. The Face ID is responsive and quick. The computer boots up and shuts down much more quickly than my past laptops

I bought the Surface Book 2 to replace an aging laptop. I wanted something with a premium build and was torn between this and a couple other similarly spec'd competitors. The detachable screen for tablet use set this one over the others. I'm surprised by how often I use it as a tablet vs laptop. It is fast and the screen is very responsive to touch. Paired with the pen it is even better. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this computer strictly for photo editing and for my photography business. It's been able to keep up with my editing and has a beautifully crisp image quality on the screen. Battery life is fantastic and it's lightweight and easy to travel with. I have only.had it lag a couple of times, but shortly after it would have a system update and the lagging would stop once the update had been applied.

I bought two because my daughter who is leaving for college changed her mind about a mac book after using my surface book. The touch screen is why she changed her mind over the Apple. I would give it a excellent rating but the charger has an apparent glitch. If the charger is left plugged up, it will not charge the laptop the next time its plugged in. You first have to unplug the charger for a few minutes, then it will work. Also the ability to change this to a pad was a huge plus for me and my daughter.

I bought this laptop in order to teach English to students online who are in China. It’s an amazing machine! It fires up in seconds. The camera is good. The keys are great, just enough travel. I thought I loved my Microsoft Surface until I found the Book 2. Way to go Microsoft! I traded in my MacBook for this and I’m so glad I did even though I lost about $600 on a MacBook I’d only had a year and a half.

Microsoft's SurfaceBook 2 has meet all my needs as a portable computer that can be used as a laptop and as a tablet. It is light, extremely well-made, responsive (for personal and business use) and has a keyboard that is comfortable to use. I have set it up with a Surface Dock that extends it use at home with additional monitors and USB devices I highly recommend Microsoft's SurfaceBook 2

This is one of the best laptops I ever bought. It is very lightweight, versatile with long battery work life. As it has a basic configuration, I was not sure it will fit my needs. However, after loading Windows 10 pro and Microsoft office 365. It uses no more than 50% of its storage space. The screen is very sharp and bright. So, I think it is good enough. Simply I like it.

The best purchase I've made so far. This laptop is very useful, it can be used as regular laptop or as a tablet. It had 2 batteries build in one in the screen, one in the keyboard. The Surface book 2 lasts for 17 hours when both screen and keyboard attached together. Recomend to buy anyone who is looking for better alternative for apple laptops.!!!

This is my third Surface Book - bought this one for my husband who just retired and wanted to start writing. It's light enough to go with him to write at the park or the beach. Laptop is fast to boot up. Keyboard is nice and easy to type on. Screen is nice and bright and easy to adjust to seeing outdoors.

The laptop hardware is great: great speed with a solid build. The hinge feels sturdy and the keys have a nice feel. Microsofts tablet interface UI leaves something to be desired and it is not intuitive in this age of smartphones. Too little tablet controls make it clunky. However the pen+handwriting support is great as well as the tablet weight is very nice for it's size.

So far so good. Had it about two months. Love the portability and flexibility of a tablet and laptop. Great battery life! Bought it for grad school in the fall but am really enjoying it for personal purposes!
