Great, but not all great.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Surface Book 2 is for those looking for a light, simple, no frills laptop that travels well and has features good for artwork/design. HOWEVER, the 8gb RAM & processor are not enough to handle loads of graphic design work (AI, Photoshop) and run other programs in conjuction. Be cautioned too, the components of the Surface Book are behind the monitor. Putting in tablet mode and feeling that heat on your hands while drawing was a HUGE turn off. The 13" screen is filled with bezel borders that confine the capacity of the monitor. Bought it based on recommendations & reviews, and for some it's probably the best thing ever, but for someone that needs to run multiple memory intensive programs, get the 16GB / 512GB i7, you'll be glad you spend the extra $. I ended up returning and purchased an ASUS ZenBook and am in love. Keeps up with my speed & space needs.
