So far, everything I’ve wanted it to do, it does. Very quickly. However, I have to jiggle the cord sometimes to get it to start charging.

Not worth the money except....

It heated up fairly quickly. Even after the student discount deal I couldn't bring myself to have said it was worth the money. If this is something you have your heart set on I would recommend getting the more expensive one(which in my case was out of my price range). The more expensive ones have the hardware to make this computer worth using. The only problem is that the next step up from the base model is a whopping $500. With the computer already costing around $1200 you can definitely plan on breaking the bank.

I just picked it up tonight but so far it is working nicely. If this one had worked I would have liked it very much. I think for my needs a laptop is appropriate and less to go wrong (detachable tablet).

I’ve had a Windows all my life and really loved the idea of a Mac, but after a lot of research and going to BestBuy multiple times, I chose the Microsoft Surface Book 2 for its clear picture (like a Mac), the touch screen/tablet mode feature, and that I can still keep my beloved Windows. I also purchased the stylus and love using it with that to scroll and write with. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I love it so much!
