The speed and quality of the graphics are amazing. We bought the extra pen and it works fantastic. She uses it for many of her art projects. We definitely purchase again.

I do wish it had a manual for some of the advanced features it has such as the drawing feature or 3d features.

Great workhorse with one major drawback

It has handled everything I’ve needed done and then some. Only major drawback is once the screen is separated; the battery life plummeted to 40% in less than an hour; and all I did was use excel. Outside of this; my overall experience has been very good.

Thanks for taking the time to share your Surface experience. We'd like to chime in to assure you that it sounds like your device is behaving just the way it should. The largest portion of the battery life of Surface Book 2 exists in the keyboard portion of your device, which is why when you separate the screen portion, you may experience less battery life. Simply attach your screen to the keyboard to find that you still have plenty of battery life left. We hope this helps to clarify!

An awesome computer

I especially love the flexibility I have when detaching and using the screen as a tablet. I’m a student, so using the stylus to take notes in One Note is very convenient.

I really love the screen resolution. I am in school full time and work full time on my computer. It’s perfect for this.

I do miss having the larger screen and number pad on the keyboard (I'm an accountant and deal with LOTS of numbers), but I'm glad I went with this.

This could allow you to have several more ways to connect to other devices including a monitor if you should desire multiple displays for crunching numbers. I have a pro, my wife has a pro and we love them, we finally talked our daughter into getting away from the high school standard and she agreed to getting the pro book. Now I'm jealous... what a fantastic piece of craftsmanship and quality!

My only complain is the lack of ports on the actual tablet. All ports (USB, type C, SD Card adapter) only work when connected to the keyboard. I wish to at least see a type C port on the tablet itself.

Purchased the Geek Squad warranty which was a good investment. It stopped charging and had to be sent off for repairs. Covered by warranty. Other than that has been a great computer for school

I thoroughly enjoy carrying the Surface Laptop to the couch, without having to use a cooling fan underneath. My only complaint is not having a 10-key in the keyboard. But sacrifices have to be made.
