It worked well for few months, and then issues were found with Bluetooth connectivity and screen performance. We took it to Microsoft store and were promised to get a replacement. All that we got was a refurbished piece with no further warranty beyond one year from the date of purchase. The replaced one is working okay now, and we hope it will last for another couple of years at least. We did not go through the fine print, and did not buy the extended warranty. It is a bitter experience to know that such a highly priced item is not reliable. I feel we should have settled with a laptop for reliability. Purchasing Surface is nothing but paying a high premium for a nice looking product with ZERO reliability on how long it will work. Definitely not the worth of about $1400 it was priced at.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
