Computer works good but battery life sucks along with the charging cable.

Had some trouble getting the icons to get to the right size but finally figured it out.

Needed this to run a PC only database. First, Windows 10 still sucks, nothing about it is user friendly. The touch screen is nice, but half the time you can’t click on stuff with the keyboard, you have to reach up and touch the screen. Does work well for the database. Could have bought something to do this for much cheaper.

Great screen, keyboard and touch screen functionality. Easy to go from notebook to tablet.

Bought this laptop for my wife and she really likes it.

I really like the idea of Surface and actual keyboard instead compact keyboard for light works. However after 3 months of use, screen doesn’t detach from keyboard sometimes and does’t turn on time to time.

Had the Surface Book for about a year and a half. There was an issue with the battery and screen would not disconnect. had to pay an additional $500 to have a new one sent to me. Do research before buying.

The laptop started out okay, but has gotten slower very quickly as more applications are installed. The 8 GB of RAM might be passable, but I recommend the 16. The real killer is the dual core processor. It just doesn't have the power to do more than one thing at a time. Unfortunately the price on the Surface lineup increases rapidly. If your use is limited to text editing or light web browsing, this'll probably be okay. For anything more, I recommend at least the quad core model. Other than that the touch screen works very well with the Surface Pen (latest). I originally tried the Bamboo pen but diagonal lines always came out jagged.

I'm not impressed. Battery do not last. That's the biggest thing for me right now. I needed it to finish my summer classes. Impulse buy. So it needs a longer lasting battery.

I love my surface but after a very short time I am having issues with the computer turning on. Sending to MS for repairs. Hopefully an isolated event as I really like this laptop.

Everything is okay with this laptop except performance which is not great for this price point it’s scored only 870 benchmark score overall

Very heavy bezel could not balance it in my laps. I wish it has a better design

I bought the MS Surface Book 2 (13.5", i5-8GB-256GB version) about 2 weeks ago, online for $1499 and received a $100 BB GC. So far it has lived up to its standards and all the talks/ vibes. I am a faculty and bought it for my daily use at work and home mostly for writing, few calculations, running light programs etc. Simply put, I LOVE IT! PROS: (1) It's quiet, looks beautiful and unique, does its jobs very well. (2) Doesn't heat up like other laptops (3) Exceptional battery life - I actually got 15h straight while working on WORD/ PPT and Pic/ Video files. I haven't watched any movies on it yet, and have no intention to play games on it (not a gamer, sorry). (4) It comes with nearly 4K resolution and crispy sound system. (5) The best part is the keyboard - oh, it's such a joy! CONS: (1) It's little heavy (~3.4 lb.) compared to others, but I don't mind. Wish they had redesigned the hinge to make it less beefy and trimmed some meat out of it - not a big issue, though. (2) Wish it came with the Thunderbolt port instead of USB-C. (3) No Pen this time (my wife has the Surface Book 1 that included the pen), obviously I'm little bummed and jealous.
