I use this to take notes for graduate school and it has greatly helped in reducing the amount of paper printouts as well as helped organize my notes. It does get warm at times but not uncomfortably. The surface book 2 also lasts a long time on a charge and is aesthetically very pleasing.

This laptop is probably my favorite purchase! The power it has to run big programs is perfect for my fiancé! It’s so portable and light and fancy looking!

I returned HP Spectre with a i7 processor for this one and it works better. Fast, excellent graphics and The detachable screen is great. Keeps the keyboard covered when in tablet mode

This is a great detachable laptop. It is expensive if you are not going to utilize the 2 in 1 aspect but great if you are. Premium design and good performance.

I use this laptop daily and have had it almost a year now. I have never had any issues and still love it every time I reach for it. I love how light the detachable screen is and my grandsons love coloring on it with the stylus and some coloring apps from the Windows store. This is my second Surface device I also own a second edition Surface Pro that has held up for years and counting that my daughter currently uses who is a flight attendant-she wanted to use it because all the pilots have Surface Pros-love the entire line of Surface products and our next purchase will be the Surface Studio 2!

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it!! It’s easy to use, and it has a lot of features to help with her assignments. It’s light weight and easy to carry.

The Surface Book 2 is very light, and is easy to take places. I also got a Surface Dock to connect it to a monitor for a second screen when at my desk.

the versatility of this machine is what attracted me to it and lead to my purchase. the ease of use/portability yet its stability is unbeatable. I've use all 4 modes so far (laptop/pad mode the most) and can't get enough of it. have done a couple of presentations with it utilizing the pen which makes feel tech savvy (which I really am not)... I wouldn't spend the extra money on the higher memory units as one can easily get a micro sd card 256 bg for a fraction of the cost but personal choice of course. again BEST portable computer made in my opinion!!!!!

I’ve had this for a while and loved it so much I bought one for my daughter. Great display, easy to switch to tablet mode, and good performance.

This laptop tablet has an amazing battery life . It's so portable and great to bring along. The only downsides are cost and no upgradability.

This laptop is a very convenient 2-in-1, with versatility when it is switched easily to tablet mode. Great for drawings. Long lasting battery is a plus.

I bought this laptop because I was relocating cross country and I needed something lighter and thinner. I love this keyboard as I can type super fast on it unlike the butterfly keyboards on the Apple laptops. I also like that it doubles as an ipad although I have never disconnected the screen from the keyboard as of yet. My favorite feature with this laptop is hands down the touch screen. It makes scrolling an absolute pleasure. The speed is really fast on this laptop as well and I love the picture quality too.

Overall, am very happy with the purchase. The tablet separating from the base keyboard is a great feature. So far works great and fast.

Before this purchase I was using a laptop that could barely turn on anymore, and a smartphone that was so primitive it barely qualified as a smartphone. I was so afraid to upgrade to current standards, it all seemed too intimidating and different. Well, what a relief!! The salesperson at Best Buy was so knowledgeable and helpful, and she gave me the confidence to go forward. I am so happy to see that phones and computers have become vastly EASIER to use!! I am so happy with everything! Best purchase I've made in a long time!!

Bought this for my wife for college. Works great has everything she needs the detach and tablet mode makes it more convenient and portable
