i've been stuck using MacPro for years (due to work - all the companies i've been with only used macs), so when it was time for me to purchase a personal computer, i went with something different. This computer is a super solid, sturdy even (i've dropped it a couple of times pretty hard, and only had a small ding with no functional issues), workhorse. i've tried the tablet function a few times, but tbh, i prefer the laptop version and the tablet version, it's too big/heavy and drains the battery too quickly. the downside, at least for me, is that this computer has magnets on all sides. i didn't realize this until i noticed a couple of my mechanical watches running very fast (like +30s/day). they got magnetized. so now i always take my watches off before using the computer. other than that, no complaints!

I have had this laptop for over 6 months and it has worked pretty good! At first the hibernate mode was hard to divide out and I eventually figured out how to turn it off. Once I figured that out my laptop has performed really well especially for my school work.

I own several service pro's for my outside sales staff and have been very pleased with them. I was in need of device that served both as a lap top and tablet and have been very pleased with this new purchase. We use it for business every day and so far performs as should.

This is the computer for me! I have just retired and purchased this as my home computer. I was nervous about not having the support but this computer needs almost nothing! And what I do need comes happily from the Geek Squad! All makes me very happy!

I love the computer and specially the versatility to turn around the screen or just detach it from the keyboard and it's become very light wait tablet and the screen is beautiful I must say I done to a lot in the computer to give a proper review for its abilities

The form factor is great and light weight. Battery life is as advertised.

I started with a surface pro. It was great but i often missed the feel of a laptop but loved the sleek design of the pro. Ao i bought this and havnt regretted it. Multiple usb ports. Extra battery in the keyboard make it a great device on the go.

Kids needed a laptop for school work. They love the computer and is very user friendly.

Microsoft surface book 2 laptop is very fast. The detachable screen is very convenient. Overall its a very reliable computer and will last a very long time. With many accessories to choose from you can customize to your liking. Very satisfied.

I love this computer! I've had it for two years and it is still running strong. I also bought one for my daughter when she started college. She is know a senior, using the same computer and loves it. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t decide if I wanted this computer or a MacBook Pro, the touchscreen and the surface pen makes a huge difference, battery life is amazing as well. I own a iPad 10.5, and an iMac. Don’t be afraid to leave the Apple ecosystem!!! It’s worrh it

My daughter loves the Surface Book 2. She is able to draw and write stories along with all of her school work. It is light and appears to have good battery life. When drawing there is not a lag and she uses it to edit pictures and videos for school.

I keep having issues with Tent mode and Tablet mode when screen is flipped. It freezes and many times get no responses. figured I would try the windows insider program to get the latest updates and still no difference as a matter of fact I can't even get into the settings now. I will be returning this item. very disappointed for the expectations of it being the best.

I was concerned that a "2 in 1" might not meet the needs of my business but decided after reading multiple reviews and comparison articles to take the leap. I have not been disappointed. The Surface Book 2 outperforms my last laptop hands down.

This 2-in-1 book has worked really well for first two years of college. Still love it and it meets all needs for note taking, school work and entertainment. Super pleased, still, with this purchase.

Overall, this has been an outstanding purchase. Excellent battery and resolution for a competitive price. Having touchscreen and tablet functionality just adds to the value. The only downside is it can be a bit bulky.
