I bought the Surface to replace a HP Lap Top that didn't have the memory and versatility that I needed for video editing and volunteer work. So far it had met and exceeded my needs and expectations.

Love. Love. Love. My husband uses his surface every day and has been nothing but happy with it.

I've had the Surface Pro 3 for a few years now, and it is still going strong. Unfortunately, the changes in Adobe's products, meant that I no longer had adequate memory to support them. So, it was time for an upgrade. I looked at several 2-in-1s, but kept coming back to the Surface Book. I am glad I stuck with this choice. It is solid. I have fired up Photoshop and Lightroom at the same time, heavily using both and it barely yawned. The palm aware is so much more reliable on the SB2. Kill off the bloatware, and you have a solid system, which allows for tablet use and excellent graphics. It costs more than other brands, but it is built with the photographer and illustrator in mind.

Been using it for about a week, and have enjoyed it so far. I am a software developer and it is quick enough to do the things that I need to do. I qualified for some discounts on the Microsoft site, but was still able to get it cheaper at best buy. I also thought it was important to check out the product in the store and I'm glad I did. I was thinking about buying a surface pro 6, but decided, after looking at them in the store, that the screen was too small. This one is perfect (the 15" screen would be great, except in tablet mode it feels way too big to me). The 13.5" is perfect (actually still pretty big in tablet mode, but not too big).

I actually decided to upgrade from my MacBook pro this surface book to make edits and use the portability and ease of use. Very impressed and happy with the purchase so far!

I love the tablet mode, when you get tired of reading for a while and you want to lay in bed, just disconnect the screen, make it a tablet and you're good to go.

I had a cheap Lenovo before this computer, and it had problems off an on from day 1. I finally spent the money to upgrade, and it was worth it. Love this computer!

This computer is decked out, works well with Photoshop and other setups, and the colors from the screen are vibrant and pretty accurate. If you are here you have probably done your research, so keep in mind that this computer still has its own windows based issues like the screen rarely being on, but black due to the connection to the surface pen( easily fixable by removing the battery from the pen and putting it back in again hehe.), but the computer is still fantastic. Works great with the surface pen. TLDR; fantastic computer for students/artists. 10/10.

Bought this a while back. Just before I got an apple computer for work. There was no doubt that this was better, faster and more comfortable to use.

After 5 years of avoiding PC products I decided to switch back and felt like I took a bit of a risk buying a higher end windows laptop. I am about a month into using it and I absolutely love it and am happy I took that risk. I primarily use my Surface Book 2 for business which includes a fair amount of web applications, as well as apps stored on the device. Overall the performance has been great. Setup was very easy, and prior to this product I had not used Microsoft One Drive which I felt is tremendously easy to use, especially compared to Icloud. Overall I am very stoked on switching back over to a windows product and love my surfacebook 2.

If you are looking for a compact, fast, good looking functional laptop... and have the money (or can finance it), this laptop is amazing. Microsoft did a GREAT job designing and presenting this 2-in-1 laptop. Not only do you get a 13.5" laptop with an amazing bright and colorful screen, you also get a THIN Windows tablet. Having the option to detach the screen and use it as a tablet is awesome! It's thin and fast and when attached to the keyboard, it has the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card w/ 2GB GDDR5 memory... which is fast and pretty amazing for such a small 2-in-1!! Definitely recommendable... if you can spare the money for it!

Well it’s in a class by itself. It’s the first time i got all the bells and whistles and i have not been disappointed. Just purely the BEST.

Used the surface pro for many years but needed a full computer. The surface book offered bothe laptop and tablet feature. Study, long battery life and great touch screen.

The Surface book is a great compromise between tablet and power laptop. love the surface pro as an everyday, but if you want to have gaming after hours and the ability to go tablet from time time, there is no better system.

I love the functionality of my Surface. The performance is outstanding! I totally recommend getting one if you live a "plugged-in" lifestyle. You won't be disappointed.

I teach at the university level and this Surface is great for do in class demos and taking notes quickly. It can also run Unity and other 3D programs for class demos.

Had debated about the Surface book vs. Big name laptops. This unit has the features that were important while still being light enough to carry everywhere.

Being a student, this pc helps me in many ways like writing notes, and multi-processing. The performance is superb. Very flexible to use.

It has been a month in now. It’s a very powerful and nice experience to use. The whole machine is a bit heavy then what I was used to. But I honestly got used to.

I am coming from an SP3 and wanted the new SP. They did not have what I wanted in stock so I decided to try Surface Book 2. I am not sure which I like better. I did make the mistake of trying a top end competitor but quickly returned it and bought the SB 2. My only complaint is the detachable screen is a little hard to get used to. I have learned that when it says ready to detach, give it another second or two. Also, it takes zero force to reattach the screen. Set it on the tabs on the keyboard and it works. Surface computers are the best computers out there for business use.
