Such a great laptop In all ways except they missed the mark by not having a Thunderbolt three for connections. Most of the laptops in this category and price range have thunderbolt three. If you do not need a thunderbolt three connection then this laptop would be perfect for you

I love the space, I love the speed, and I love ease of use of the computer. I had the 512 GB, but really felt a need for the extra space. After some initial installs, I only had 400 GB's left. For the amount of money that I was spending, that little bit simply wouldn't do! I absolutely had to upgrade for more space. I bought a Samsung Odyssey Mixed Reality Headset as well, and I am having lots of fun with the light gaming apparatus. It's amazing how this little computer has THAT much power, being able to handle VR gaming and such. It wasn't meant for long term gaming, though, so you must keep that in mind in the case that you want to game all day long. Sure, the computer costs a lot. However, I don't see myself needing to replace this rig for a LONG TIME (I'm talking about 5+ years, at least).

Second monitor software driver has multiple problems and is not ready for prime time business users. Needs Microsoft QA review and rework. Specifically (at least); 1) when dragging a window from primary display to second display, the window does not always properly resize on second display, 2) second window periodically goes blank causing windows on second display to relocate to primary display, 3) when copying a formula or cell data across >20 columns, screen refresh is slower that a 10-year old PC. When I reproduced the problem #1 for Geek Squad, Best Buy gave me a full credit exchange for the Surface Book 2 on a HP Envy (less than one half the cost of Surface!), AND has better performance. Spec-wise the Surface Book 2 looks great but it's not ready for prime time business users.

The Microsoft surface book 2 is not a well tested and/or performing product. Many glitches occur on a daily basis. For example, screen flashes incomprehensible data. Now the screen is black and the machine will not turn on.

This Laptop worked pretty well until it updated itself a couple of times. Now it freezes for a few seconds all the time. It also has a touchpad problem where the cursor gets moved to another point in the sentence you are typing. Both of these problems are extremely annoying.

I won't write a review, professionals have done that already. I'll just say this PC is everything Microsoft claims. As pretty as a Mac Book but with a real world OS, more power and better features.

Have the Surface Book for two weeks now using it every day and this by far is the best mobile computer I ever used, build quality is top-notch! Very fast, quiet and good looking are three other attributes this computer has. Highly recommended! Search for "BASEQI Aluminum MicroSD Adapter for Microsoft Surface Book 2" this is the best accessory to extend your hard disk space.

I got my surface book about two months ago and LOVE it! However, just recently I opened it up to use it and discovered a crack in the screen. I keep my laptop in a case and am very gentle with it, but the crack came out of nowhere. I don't know what to do, I have tried looking it up online and looks like it is about $600 to repair. Very disappointed.. Love love love the laptop but hate how it cracked out of the blue.

It is a good and fast computer to use. It's both in one.

Had this laptop for many months and it worked great until I installed Windows version 1809 from 1803. Now I have CONSTANT problems. The whole PC freezes randomly for 2 seconds every 10 to 15 seconds. Video and Audio had big problems. I reverted back to 1803 but there are still problems. The hardware is great but the software is junk. Going back to Apple. My 7 year old max book air still works with no problems.
