It can handle most of the basics and more, like 3D Modeling. The Surface Book 2 did not meet my full expectations though. It doesn't have any DisplayPort, HDMI, or CAT5e/LAN ports! However, for an extra $200 you can buy the Surface Dock which includes these ports but still no HDMI.
