The computer does everything i was looking for it to do and is easy to utilize. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was problems i experienced right after purchasing it. There were several bugs with the operating system. I had to have the geek squad run a diagnostic and upgrade the system. Not what i would expect with a system right out of the box. That being said it now functions fine.

Couldn't be more happy with this purchase for my daughter going away to college. She loves it and hasn't had any problems with it at all going on about 7 months now. Would recommend.

I should have NOT bought this Surface Book. Its a waste of money, the screen keeps shutting off and there is nothing you can do except wait like 3-15 hours unti it turns back on. It keeps freezing up all the time. There is nothing special about this notebook. Don't waste your money and buy yourself an Apple.

The best laptop made in my option. Flawless victory. My $999.00 MacBook air is about 80% this good. Mine was $2500.00 with the geek squad 2 year protection. Pricey, but worth it.

Best Windows Laptop that you can get today. It's a "luxury" purchase for sure, there are plenty of cheaper options out there. If you want the best their is always a price to pay.

is a light and easy way to work anywhere, good battery for office work

Window10 has many problems on this laptop. And the one I got also has problem with detaching and rotation.

Real easy to get setup - works perfectly with Microsoft software

I was pleasantly surprised at the performance and battery life of the Surface Book. Good size, plenty of power for standard use, Steam in-home streaming, light photo editing, etc. However, the internal hard drive failed just out of warranty with little warning and left me stuck with a $700 replacement suggested by Microsoft and data loss. For $2500 I expected much more than a shrug from support and another $700 to MS. I've built enough computers to know that a hard drive failure, much less an SSD failure in a year, nowadays, is abnormal, but it seems to be a relatively common issue in these! (High-temperature environment perhaps?) I don't know what caused it. I would not buy this product again without either a better manufacturer warranty or greater ease of repairability. Sorry Microsoft, Great idea! Poor implementation. Hopefully, the 2nd generation won't be plagued with early death like this device was.

I use this for a smooth transition in an office/field position. Screen works good enough in the sun, good powerful laptop that runs all of our company programs.

I use my surface primarily for school: note-taking, coding, and running some 3d programs. This surface has worked incredibly well.

The processing power and built-in-video card make this a gamer's dream. The light weight and screen size also make this a college student's dream.

I brought this for my daughter in college. What attracted me first was the ability to use it as a note pad as well as a laptop...she loves it!

I love my Microsoft Surface Pro Note book. It is compact and easy to tote around. Provides me the all the features of a regular lap top and more.

This laptop is amazing.It's truly beyond what I expected.I use it for personal as well as for my business.I highly recommend this product.

This is simply a beautiful machine. I have not yet encountered any driver issues. I would also note that u have not encountered problems with standby mode drain in the battery so perhaps Microsoft has fixed that. It runs all the software I have installed do far without issue. Using the pen to right click takes some practice. I wish the pen had a button on the side for that. Also sometimes the latch gets stuck and out of sync and I have to "recycle" it. Otherwise it has had very few problems thus far for me. I really love it.

Love my new book. Very fast i7. My only complaint is I wish it was as light as my former Lenovo yoga which broke 5 times by the way!

I really love my new Surfacebook. So far everything works excellent. Could use a little more battery time when using as a tablet.

I am very pleased with my new Microsoft - Surface Book 2-in-1 13.5 Touch-Screen Laptop. The setup was quite user friendly.
