High build quality

The build is very similar to the quality of a MacBook pro but with less power. I had to return the first one due to a hardware issue. This is truly a very powerful tablet with laptop capability, not a desktop replacement laptop.

I have MS Office, AutoCAD, Acrobat DC, Photoshop, and Elements on the machine with very few problems. There does seem to be a minor glitch of some type with the display as it has frozen up a couple of times.

It needed to look great for presentations serve the role of a "Mobile Device" (tablet) and perform as a development machine (programming). It does all of the above with ease. The key board base was the key selling feature for me. Two USB ports more processing power. For my particular needs it has proved to be the whole package.

Great feature to covert as a tablet, but to be honest haven'the really used it detached as much as I thought I would.

Great Laptop

The ability to run video games was surprising, some required reduced resolution but still ran just fine. The unit appears to be very durable but a bit heavy but not too heavy. It is used as a college student's computer carried in a back pack and has proven to be very useful with the long battery life.

I was actually on my way to the store to purchase a Surface Pro 4, but read some reviews before I got there which introduced me to the Surface Book. I have not been disappointed. It's fast, practically sized, and I love that I can use the pen feature for some of my applications such as Lightroom and Drawboard.
