With this being the first Surface Book model made by Microsoft, it is a great concept for the future of laptops. Sure, there are a few issues that have come up, with mine being more luckier than others, many updates keep have been issued in order to resolve them. So far, I enjoy using it, and look forward to its long usage and capabilities!

I also have the Surface Pro3 and this Surface Book offers even more flexibility with a more rigid and typical keyboard. I'd recommend it for anyone on-the-go

I was very pleasantly surprised by my new surface book. I did not think anything could so well designed. High quality outstanding tablet laptop all in one.

The Surface is very functional for office work and personal use. The USB 3 ports are the key along with the ssd drive speeding things up. Backing up is a breeze with an external hard drive. The touch screen comes in handy with the stylus. I am still getting used to Windows 10. It is a good combination of old and new but I wish the tiles were easier to identify.

Bought for my daughter, who's junior in college and who needed light weight computer that is lightweight and easy to use in classes and powerful enough to handle large analysis projects and papers. Easy to use, high definition, excellent speakers.. Great as tablet, but powerful as a laptop. Bought one for my business after saw how well it worked for her.

fast, sleek, lite weight . very easy to use and set up

First off, this device still has a lot of bugs that Microsoft is taking a long time to patch. But other than that, this thing is awesome. The most noticeable issue that you will have with them is the sleep of death. I went into the settings and set it to never go to sleep and haven't had the issue since.

I purchased this laptop to replace my surface pro 3 in hopes I would like it better. I was right I love the surface book and while it's a little heavier the functionality of it is awesome. My only gripe to the surface book is the tablet itself you cannot charge alone or it does not have a USB port on it.

I'm always designing invitations and such so this computer meets all my needs. It's fast, and the touch features are amazing. I had to give 4 stars because the battery life could be better.

It's great as laptop, it's bad as tablet. It comes with a pen that I never used. The outside power button is switching the unit on while its in a bag, and when you close it as a tablet, it does not really know if to switch off or not.

Great graphics and easy to use. Microsoft constantly provides updates for the system. Can use as laptop or pad.

I love my surface book but there are some serious issues with the firmware. The display adapter crashes frequently resulting in page freezes. Not serious but unfortunate in a 2000 dollar machine. My unit generates an error when I go to detach the screen but it does detach if I pull it despite the error message. It would have been better if the SD slot was in the screen half as you lose access to files stored on the SD card when you detach. Hopefully most of the issues I see will be resolved in the coming months with firmware and driver updates.

Great purchase, everything worked as supposed from the very beginning! No problems at all, so far.

I love the size of the computer. It has a lot of great features I am still figuring out which is why I can't give it 5 stars quiet yet. I am getting use to the touch pad but like it. Looking forward to really learning What it can do

I purchased one for my wife to replace her portable computer. It acted funny with blue screens from start but seemed to straighten after Best Buy Geek Squad reset system to new condition. After about 3 - 4 weeks it started again and progressed to unusable . Took back to Best Buy and fixed again.. Problem returned and they replaced it with new machine. We have had no problem since. I works GREAT. I would only buy or have serviced any serious computer systems from BEST BUY. They stand behind their work!!! Thanks!!!

So far this laptop is amazing. It is fast, high quality resolution. Camera is great.
