This laptop is the best. The graphics are amazing and it has a sleek design.

The Surface Book is a high end laptop that is mostly a traditional clamshell laptop but also allows the user to go into "clipboard" mode where the screen detaches. I often use the detached screen when collaborating with co-workers and it's a nifty feature. Overall, the laptop is excellent quality.

I love this product! Its sturdy and durable, but also light-weight and portable. It is very user friendly as well. I looked at several different tablet/laptops while I was in the Best Buy store before deciding on this one. I'm glad I did!

I really liked this machine. The track pad was exceptional and the picture on the monitor was very accurate. The stylus feature is nice and I liked the quick access to one note. Found it useful for adding notes to .pdf blueprints. Only drawback of the machine was the clunky remove and flip monitor feature. I found it to be too cumbersome to use in the real world. I like the quick flip on my yoga 900 for going to tablet mode then doing automation system programming where you have to multi tap devices then confirm taps on laptop. The magnetic charger cable connection was the feature that impressed me the most. I almost kept this laptop because of this feature. I don't understand why more laptops don't have this connection type. Over the last 10 years I've broken the charger port on every laptop I've owned...

I hated to replace my former laptop, but it was on its way out. After reviewing my options, there was no comparison to the Surface Book. It is durable, so don't let the gap between the screen and keyboard fool you. It is easy to use as a tablet or a laptop. I love the backlit keyboard. This is by far the best laptop I have ever owned.

Slow at first and sometimes it's looks like it shuts down but then it turns back on. The resolution was extremely small at first but when using AutoCAD or other applications for blueprint designs, use a lower resolution. After a few weeks the computer is now running faster. Issues with the sleep mode was the cause so it's fixed.

I'm a Microsoft fan.... No doubt. But I'm also a realist. I did not like the first two Surfaces, the 3rd was a home run, so I knew when a surface-esque laptop came around I'd be happy. As my primary machine, it's awesome. Get the dock! The Surfacebook is as it says - an all around MacBook Pro killer.

I was using a Lenovo Helix. The Surfacebook has a great display and is much more powerful. So far I haven't had any issues other than normal Windows things.

Best Microsoft computer on the market today. Intuitive, great for business or fun. Just one issue with OS 10. It seems you can't print from a RDP session to your home printer like OS 7. I guess Microsoft will eventually fix that, but right now it's a pain. Besides that great computer.

I use the Surface Book for light design work and general productivity. Windows 10 shines in this hybrid laptop/tablet, and the Surface Pen works great for sketching and notetaking. Runs Adobe CC apps fine so far, but can slow down with larger files.

Great for educator teaching online classes. Great audio/video performance. PC format to manage and facilitate courses. Tablet format to collaborate with online students. I teach Math and find the use of the stylus very helpful. Light to travel with.

After weeks of research, we visited the Best Buy in Huntington and spoke with a great Microsoft rep in the store. I told him all of my personal and work needs for my new laptop and the Surface exceeded those requirements. I am so happy with it and I find something new and cool on it everyday. It takes a little time to figure out the laptop vs tablet capabilities but once you play with it for a bit, you wonder how you ever lived without it. The price point is high but it offers so much more than other similar options that are lower in price.

Great computer for work and home. Does everything I need and the 2in1 is awesome.

Initially start up was hap-hazard, needed numerous restarts and updates to get it going properly. Though, so far so good.

Very nice machine. A little issue with displays when docking, but, overall nice!

I purchased this to use for work and I am happy with how quick & easy it is to use. I would like to see USB ports on the monitor part of the book.

After reading reviews, I looked forward to the Surface Book. I liked the fit and finish; I liked the Windows 10 integration. But be advised: the i7 runs hotter than the other CPUs and the unit needs to turn on the fans quite regularly. I don't like reading in bed with a noisy tablet. My unit went back to the store, but I expect I will be back for an i5 version when they ship again.

This I believe is better than a Surface Pro 4 with the memory you get

I have used this since it came out. Works great. Has a few bugs but Microsoft is working on fixing them.
