I switched from an Apple imac to this Mircosoft Surface book and couldn't be happier. Everything works so smoothly, and there are many other functions available on this laptop that I wasn't getting with my iMAc. I have always been an apple person however I was happy to finally make this switch. The only downside is that it is slightly difficult to use with other apple products such as iPhone but that really doesn't upset me in any way.

This laptop is great for zoom classes and turns into portable sheet music when practicing piano.

I unfortunately bought this on impulse in the middle of the pandemic. But I loved it--it was the most solid, sexy laptop I have ever owned. It handled graphics, video programs, everything fast and beautifully. But I realized that I couldn't really afford it in a pandemic and returned it (Very easily). But once things are more settled down economically, I will definitely go back and buy this again!

I love using my surface book in both laptop and tablet mode. Although it works fine as a laptop, I find myself using any excuse I can to pop the screen off and use it like a tablet (either to draw or take notes). The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the shear performance at the price it costs, just isn't there. I got the base model (so it's got a nice 10th gen i5 processer), but the graphical performance and storage space are lacking for a $1600 computer. I understand that this is the base model, so the specs aren't going to be great, but for a base model, even with the cool tablet/laptop capability that it has, I would expect a price more around $1000 or maybe even $1200. Charging $1600 seems more fitting for one of the more high end spec models.

Ive had this just under two weeks and it’s been phenomenal. Super easy to adjust to and simplistic but still up to par. I am enjoying this for work as an ABA technician with lots of current virtual kiddos and loads of meetings and trainings as well as for school. It functions well for everything I need and has more capabilities than I realized I’d like!

i love it it is the best laptop ive had so far and the fact that you can take a part the keyboard is great so you really have 2 in 1 its great as a tablet and same as a laptop you have extra battery when u need it just plug it back to its keyboard and there u go u now have more battery

Purchased to work remotely from home via VPN. Thus far no complaints. Battery life is strong and the keyboard feels much more sturdy and that of most other tablets/2-n-1s. Backlit function works well in low lights. Feels portable without being flimsy. Definitely could see myself working well with this via remote trips/in airports, etc.

I spent a pretty penny on this but I believe in the long run it will be worth the $$$. So far it's worked perfectly. Cant wait to push this to its limits.

In staying with the Microsoft family, I passed from a Surface Pro to the Book (with some generous assistance from the Geek Squad in Harrisonburg, VA. Saul is the best.). There is no reason to go back. This machine is more powerful, faster, more responsive and sturdier than the Pro. Well done Microsoft.
